He didn't have the best game yesterday but he looked in agony when his shoulder popped. Did he roll about the floor? Did he cry about it? No, he got it popped back in and ran back into midfield. Love this guy!
Think we're OK for midfielders, I like onion but I reckon we can manage without him, and that's something I wouldn't have said the last couple of seasons tho.
Depends on the surgery to be fair but could easily be 12 weeks. Even then the rehab would be brutal. Pain in the arse a shoulder dislocation.
If I’m being greedy I still want: One more full back option - ideally right back. Regan Poole would be tremendous as offers cover inside as well Goalkeeper Winger (two if both Hawkes and Diamond go on loan) Central Midfielder
I wonder if we should bite the bullet and get it sorted, I know he's a willing lad but it seems unreasonable to send him out there knowing he could be badly hurt. Get it fixed now and we'd have time to bring in cover.
Should of had it done ages ago. Don't see it getting done now , start of the season etc. He won't be arsed to be fair.
Frustrating that both O’Nien and McGeady ended last season needing surgeries but didn’t / couldn’t get them due to being out of contract. McGeady then had to miss most of pre season to have his, and is clearly struggling as a result. And O’Nien is having to play through the pain to avoid his.
Don't know if it was just my eyes deceiving me but I thought he looked heavier/more bulked up in the first game of the season as well, although he played well in that game. But it does look like his foot injury is affection his performance.
Sam Vokes (who many on here didn’t want when we were linked), has started the season well for Wycombe and will be a big threat next Saturday.
All you have to do is stop the supply to him and you'll stop Vokes. I'm sure we have the midfield who'll be able to do that
