You can 'like' a post and then 'unlike' it later. Sometimes I'll go through a particular forumite's historic posts and knock maybe 20 likes off just for the hell of it. Only joking of course...
I don't know why people single out Coops. He's done as good job as anyone in this team over the Bielsa years. Check his stats last season Defensively. Coops did a lot for this team. Statistically Defensively he was Best Tackler, best blocker, best interceptor I could go on with good stats for the lad but why should I, The haters have already made their minds up on him. Everton goal hands up he got wrong side of DCL. but if Klich wasn't being a fannnny walking around like he was shot, the cross wouldn't of come over in 1st place injured or not, you go down stop the play. so saying it's all Coops fault is a bit harsh. Also who helped make it 1-1 with the assist ? oh it was that crap player Cooper. simple as it may of been, had he not been there or done the deed we could of lost 1-0. but as it's Coops the good things go unnoticed and bad things get blown out the water. Blaming Coops for the Burnley goal oh come on! you could of blamed anyone in that part of the play and if you had to lay any blame.. Blame the keeper as he should of done a lot better but nobody will call out Meslier will they. If Coops wasn't on the field it would be his fault lol. After saying all that I'm not his biggest fan. but stats don't lie and if he isn't good enough neither are the rest as he done statically better or as good as any of them in that defence.
I would prefer to have the best defence record this season , someone is obviously making mistakes in our defence you would agree on that yes ? I did post a video of Cooper being on the wrong side of the attacker and pulling his shirt in the area thus giving a penalty away are you disagreeing with the video evidence ? Also Cooper heading the ball into the middle of our goal area when supposedly clearing the ball are you disagreeing with the video evidence of that also ? That's 2 mistakes he done to give away goals not including man utd game , I suppose your going to say Cooper had a great game against man utd eh ? Oh yes I get it , it's Cooper improving eh ? Ha ha more like Tommy Cooper every game. Cooper is a good championship player at best.
Almost a fair reply at least you acknowledged Cooper being on wrong side of attacker , our best defender by a country mile is Llorente but as I have said before he is injury prone and no good to us on the treatment table half the season . Although he is young hadghe from celtic let's give him a run out and see if he can step up , and drop Cooper. So the back 4 would be ferpe 1st choice or 2nd choice hjedge( sorry for the spelling )Llorente , stryke and ayling
So if we are basing players performance and worthiness on three games we better drop Ayling, Rodrigo, Harrison & others who have not performed yet. You have made a conscious decision to hate on Cooper and that is that. You are unwilling to hear any argument to the contrary because it doesn't fit your narrative. Are you glory with a new account?
He used to post in BLOCK capitals or SOMe block capitals but has either forGOtten or been studYing during lockdown. Wouldn’t worry yourself too much mate, he’s got some funny stories about lady boy ladies etc, I’d stick to that
No idea mate. if you'd like an answer to your query just pop over to the political thread...not sure he knows where the footy ones are anymore.
On the Cooper debate I agree he is top end Championship standard when it comes to skills. However he is deffo Prem standard when it comes to leadership, commitment, passion. I would also hazard a guess (Focus on Leeds might help) that Cooper makes the most blocks in the Premier League. Llorente will not be far behind, but for Coopers failings where a goal is scored I think he saves a lot more goals by his blocking? Bielsa is a winner and would never field a team just on loyalty
Our worst defender is Ayling, but his shortcomings as a defender are negated by his attacking abilities. The way he dropped so deep for Burnley's goal however, playing Wood onside when the rest of the defence had pushed out, was amateurish - and yet Cooper gets the blame (from some who just don't understand these things )
He's a scapegoat and always will be. We could win a game 3-1. he could score one of the goals and save a goal bound effort off the line in the same game. People would still blame him for the goal we conceded lol. If Something goes wrong blame Coops.
