He's spot on. And it's good to see him saying it. But its even better knowing he's comfortable saying it. With previous regimes he may not have felt empowered to speak so candidly.
He's right and it's good that he's coming out and saying it. We should not be accepting chucking away a 2 goal lead at Fleetwood. It's not the end of the world, but we need to take steps to improve it Roy Keane talks of the culture at Man Utd during the hey days. They were winning the title at a canter, but there were "fights in training on a Monday if we'd lost on the Saturday" It's the constant pursuit of improvement that is important. On the face of it, 16 points from 7 games is excellent and spot on for promotion, but it should have been 21 points. We have to take 6 from the 2 home games coming up and start showing some dominance
Parky got rid of him for the exact same thing, This just proves the passion he has for Sunderland to go up and im behind him with those thoughts
Fair enough comments and good to see. Little kick up the arse from the senior pro on the team. Now let's come out on Saturday and see an arse kicking of Bolton (not bothered about the Wigan game)
Im very bothered about the Wigan game i would like to see LJ give the second team as he calls it a full run out for a lot of reasons, match fitness, see how well they do,identify people playing better to bring in the team, identify striker strengths, fitness levels, defender choices due to injuries, I still think Younger is a better shout than Wright
It would be good to see the team put a performance in and get a result but in the grand scheme of things, this isn't a cup we can win so if we lose then so be it. We can concentrate on what's important, and that's getting promoted, finally, out of this **** league.
players should always feel free to say what they feel, as long as there is no slagging of individuals or management. geads is quite correct and also mentions that last quarter of the game was not what the gaffer wants from the team so he basically 'holds his hands up' for the whole team there.
