Me. 3,000 less people were interested in seeing those star names a couple of years earlier when it was full price, even though we were at a higher level then. You normally love numbers and they paint a very clear picture on this one. No idea why you so badly want to believe a more negative version of events than the one the facts point to.
And thinking about it. Chelsea were under an embargo that season and their team was full of academy players. We played their reserves in the cup. Don't think anyone was flocking to see Fikayo Tomori's glorious return, if they weren't as interested in seeing Hazard and Costa a couple of years before.
I saw the lady come out get in car i stood there with my grand daughters roary tiger bear from the van .
Hope you stood up & kicked him in the goolies , or at least gave him the Glasgie Handshake in the same region?
I still find it amazing that ticketing in the UK seems about 20 years behind us here in Aus. I remember buying tickets for games over there and getting them mailed to me or picking them up at the ticket box. Here you buy the ticket, it gets emailed to you, and you scan in on your phone.
I tried that but cant find the slot the ticket appears from? please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
i remember when the battery on the phone lasted all week and you could get a signal wherever you were - now the battery doesnt last a day and the signal comes and goes all over the place - having a ticket on your phone is bollocks if your phone isn't working - some of the newer cars dont even have a sat nav any more it has to be linked to your phone - i asked the sales rep what happened to the sat nav if you lost the signal - apparently it doesn't work - some people will think that's progress - it isn't
If you can't get signal out the front of a football stadium then there's bigger issues than just your phone. If you want to print out at home you can do that too but it's your option.
A lot of kids will have got their dads to take them along to see a big name club, and dad will have thought OK. If they had dropped the prices to the same for a league game there wouldn't have been a great increase like that so the name of the club they were playing played a part.
