Jeez, a lot of people really are ****s when it comes to any shortage of anything. It was the same at the very start of lockdown when pricks stockpiled fresh food and bog roll. I got to fumes in my car as I couldn't fill up earlier. Luckily I've just popped to my local Tesco and they just had a fuel delivery so I put in half a tank which is more than enough to keep me going. People who have massive fuel tanks who fill up to the brim can quite frankly **** off.

    Rant over.

Starmer’s idea to tax Public schools described by BBC as a ‘tax grab’

I’m sorry, but why do private institutions providing education for the privileged have charitable status?

Just to emphasise for anyone who didn’t know, Eton is a tax-exempt charity!

My take on the HGV drivers.

Imagine a normal office job and the conversation goes like this:

"Good Morning, is that Vladimir (lol sorry for the stereotype!)"

    "Yes, good morning"

"We have this great opportunity for you, the company is in the **** and really, really need you to help out - we can pay a great salary, but it is in the UK"

"Great, no problem. So I can move my family over"

"No, you can get us out of the ****, then on Christmas eve, you'll have to go back home as it will be illegal to work here"

"So let me get this straight, I get you out of the **** I, am away from my family for months, then you say I am not welcome?"

"Yes! Exactly! When can you start"

If the solution to staff shortages, in some industries, is to allow an increase in migrant labour, then it is clear that the cause of the problem was reducing the number of migrant workers, in the first place.
And saying we will allow 5000 temporary working visas for HGV drivers will not cover the fact that we are said to be in need of 100,000.

Sadly the MSN are so cosy with the Tory party that they will never report it in that way, as it involves telling the truth about Brexit.

There are deluded individuals online, who say Brexit has nothing to do with driver shortages <laugh>
The fact is 14,000 EU drivers went back to their homelands……because of Brexit.

I used to train children to.do the cycling proficiency test. I was extremely rigorous when coaching them to do any kind of turn. Hopefully that training was useful for the future.
