    Am I the only one that thinks McLean has been poor this season. I personally think Rupp should come in for him.

    McLean is our only left-footed CM so he has an advantage on that side and he's also good at covering for the LB/WB. I also like Rupp, but might Sørensen be another option given his success in covering at LB?

    I would 100% be starting Sorensen, perhaps he could sit deeper and push Normann slightly further forward in possession but he can drop in and be more solid defensively.

    Excellent idea! <cheers> I don't know what Sørensen has done to offend DF.

    Sorensen appears to be the new David Fox, the longer he's out of the side, the better his reputation gets...

    Very true DH. The more we see of some of those picked ahead of him, the more certain it becomes that he couldn't do any worse ........ ;)

    I worry so, and as the Watford display shows we always have the capacity for a bad performance too.

    Mixed - he's been inconsistent and that freekick was really bad. I don't think the lack of pre-season has helped.

    The confidence looks shot like the 10 games after project restart

    I agree confidence looks rock bottom, but there's enough in the performances so far to make me feel it's not like project restart (yet...)

    DF press conference.
    • Christoph Zimmermann and Todd Cantwell are still absent. Cantwell should be back after the international break following a spell away for personal reasons. There's a question mark over Billy Gilmour's fitness for Saturday too;

    Me neither. The 9 new players have brought a new outlook and hopefully that will kick start the season with more competition for places and more options to match different teams we're playing against. Burnley will be the latest development in that.

    After 8 games, FC Zurich currently sit 3rd in the Swiss Super League. Leitner has featured regularly in central midfield, starting in 5 of the 8 matches. Good to see him back playing and seemingly playing pretty well. Zurich standardly set up 3:4:2:1, which allows him to get on the ball and play <ok>
