Best thing about this country you get to sample a bit of every season tbf Winter seems a bigger let down than Summers for me. At least we get some sunny scorcher weeks but we dont really get enough heavy snowy weeks. Anyway, Autumn still my favourite season.
One thing I miss living out here are proper seasons - its always hot and either wet or dry. The worst thing though is that there's no more than 30mins variation in the time it comes light and goes dark and its generally light by 5.30am and dark by 6.00pm.
I remember that from spending some time in Venezuela. No long summer evenings. And when the sun goes down in the tropics, it just disappears. No long lingering drawn out sunsets. One of the things I love about British summers are those pinky / orange dusky skies that linger on for a couple of hours after sunset
Perimeter and a bit of in and outs of a local forest, which will get me to a canal path for the last 6 miles
Whys he left in the 1st place? If this dude is walking 30miles for fun we need to be having words with him dont you think? For once im hoping charity is involved. Im sure everyone else just drove to the dogging spot
