Lazio Eagle Handler: "I admire Mussolini": https://football-italia.net/lazio-eagle-handler-i-admire-mussolini/ Wasn't sure whether this should go here or in the No **** Sherlock thread.
Kane is at the centre of a media agenda - and that is to ensure all of the best players in the world are in the Premier League - but namely Manchester United, Liverpool and to a slightly lesser extent Manchester City and Chelsea.
You’re right about the executives, but in this case I was referring to Spurs’ Paratici and Hitchin, who definitely have the experience and the backing of a scouting network and data platforms that the average fan, no matter how knowledgable, doesn’t have.
One of the reasons I always preferred Roma (until Mourinho went there). Di Canio said something similar when at Lazio. These types will boo the knee and cry about BLM then tell us not to bring politics into football.
While that may be true I’m sure there was an incident a few years back where we played away at Lazio, Spurs fans were attacked by Roma fans. IIRC people got stabbed. One of the few times their fans united, in the name of antisemitism. Found the article: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/20551222 Roma fans outside the ground, Lazio fans inside.
Italy as a whole still has plenty of problems with fascism. Mussolini's granddaughters (plural) becoming successful fascist politicians, for example.
And yet Leicester have three strikers on the books and what are they doing right now? Struggling And this is the point: it doesn't matter how many strikers a team has if the same one is getting picked every single week and the understudies only get runouts in the cups, because that's what we did with Vinicius last season and that didn't prevent Kane getting his annual ankle injury, yet when Kane was out did Vini get a run of league games? Did he buggery
A bunch of people moaning that we didn't bring him in during the summer, even though those same people were ****ting on Fonseca when we were linked with him in the summer?
I think what stands out for me is that if I was that consistently performed so poorly and unprofessionally in my job I would be sacked. Some players know they won't be sacked so do not give a ****. Dele is living proof of this. Other players have been taught to hide behind excuses that wouldn't wash in the real world. Sanchez, Winks Bergwijn and Lo Celso are examples of that. Both issues are compounded by their eye watering wages which lead them to not worrying about needing to turn things around cos they will never want for anything so in the end it does not matter if they do not try their best. Their is no way I believe those players were giving 100% ... if they were then the club should be recognising they are now appalling footballers and get rid of them, even if they have to give them free transfers. At least we'd have freed up their wages!
To be fair I bet if they knew they were gonna end up with Nuno they would’ve brought out the “Welcome Fonseca” signs outside WHL at the time of being linked with him.
Well done Spurs management. Sending boys to do a mans job.Performed like we did in the CL Final a few years ago......forgot to turn up.Better turn up against West Ham!!!!
Makes you wonder why the "players?" got on the plane to Holland anyway. Were they looking forward to a visit to the Red Light District and piss on the game?! Hope none of our fans wasted their money.....?
They fail to appoint him at the 11th hour and 59th minute, have a brief and ridiculous dalliance with Gennaro Gattusso and end up with Nuno?
