Accident/intent/recklessness. Say, if you drive on the wrong side of the road to beat the traffic in the rush hour. Is it only an offence if you cause an accident, and even then, only an offence if you INTENDED to cause an accident?
Yeah, but what if you didn't see anyone coming, and they just came round a bend, so you didn't mean it? Driving on the other side of the road IS allowed for overtaking, providing it's safe to do so, so if you wiped out that family coming the other way, but you never intended to do so, surely that is okay?
Er it is My daughter lost a tooth on Sunday No foul issued Ref even said to her the other girl didn’t mean it It was an accident Direct quote FA Ref
Who broke Elliot’s leg/ankle Did the red stick or was it rescinded was it accidental ??? that was dangerous Surely ?
I dont think it was. The leeds lad in real time looked like he made an honest effort but on the replay it was from behind. The kneed landed on the ankle. Excessive force again.
No offence, but Sunday and PL aren't exactly the same level mate. Playing or refereeing. I could get away with murder on a Sunday!
Sort of my point as the card was rescinded and the opinion was definitely split The FA effectively are saying the ref got it wrong by rescinding the card Even on here there were people saying it wasn’t a red If the rule was clear there should not be a spilt opinion Offside as much as we don’t like where they measure from is now fairly clear and as long as the lines are straight they are nearly there I would rather see a freeze frame moving forwards and backwards like they do in rugby if we are to use technology But as I said I think people/refs respond to the ooof factor because there is no such thing as the ooof factor - I just made it up And that simply cannot be correct imho
Same rules apply there is no guidance that says that in the Prem the rule means this and elsewhere it means otherwise The rule is the rule surely ?
I am way too deep in this and I need to stop replying I won’t change your mind and vice versa I know I am wrong because The ref issued a red Because the rule dictates it I just don’t agree with it - I am entitled to be wrong and think this way.
