The Chairboys welcome the Railwaymen to Adams Park looking to extend their five game unbeaten run and their 100% record at AP this season in fact that home record extends over 6 months, the Railwaymen have one solitary win this season but have drawn five and sit 23rd one point ahead of Donny. There hasn't been any reports of any injuries so Gaz is spoilt for choices and will be fielding his strongest line up and a very talented bench to use if necessary. Scott Kashket could start for the Railwaymen. I will be at AP again looking forward to seeing the lads continue their excellent form and extend that home record and with the crowd behind them another three points in the bag
Hey, what is your opinion of Vokes so far? I must admit I was expecting a few more goals from him. Do you see him as integral to our team/style of play. Would Hanlan, McCleary and Horgan be a possible for a front 3. Is he just getting match fit? I haven’t seen us play much, so anyone who has, please let me know what you think.
My best team would be. Stockdale McCarthy Stewart, Taff JJ Obita Thompson Scowen McCleary Hanlan / Horgan Vokes Although if Horgan plays I would push McCleary further forward.
Sorry Cardiff we are not a team to score lots of goals, went to the Gillingham game after the two goals in the first 15mins I thought the game petered out, Wycombe seemed more than happy with the two goals, if another one came along fine if not so what. They had to score four against Morecambe to win it. Personally under Ainsworth I don't think we are a team to score lots of goals unless it's needed, I wouldn't be surprised to see us score two early goals on Saturday then shut up shop
I didn't realise Steve Hayes the owner who tried to sell us down the river still came to Adams Park I thought he was long gone
Fair point, maybe my hopes were too high for Vokes to be that 20 goal man. We do seem to share the goals around a lot. Which I guess is good that we aren’t reliant on any one person.
Those were bad times, if I remember right it was only a change of local government who refused to approve the building of a new stadium on green belt land that saved us. Soooooo close to not owning Adams Park.
Vokes will come good although not a 20 goal a season player he will go on a run of scoring in five or so games maybe getting a brace in a couple and end up mid to high teens he wins lots of aerial duals but we haven't been playing a forward close enough to him maybe Hanlan will be that partnership also we bring Bayo on for the last 15 mins it seems a lot longer believe me so Vokes never gets a full 90 mins
An unchanged #Chairboys starting XI from the win over Gillingham last time out at Adams Park. COYB! #WYCvCRE https://t.co/BdFnTuabcD
