Draw or maybe a loss probably fair based on Villa dominance second half but I’m not complaining

It wasn’t a pretty second half, but a great close out from Saints. Tense as it was at the time, I don’t think there was too much to have worried McCarthy in the end.

Their pressing second half was much improved and they shut off our safety passes into Romeu s well as outnumbering him when he was on the ball, cutting off his passing.

We were far better in the first half than Villa were in the second, imo. Not that it means anything.
