Well, when the honeymoon is over, I wonder how long it will be before the chanting turns to "on yer bike"
Except that football beer's always crap! I'm sure I read somewhere that breweries make special 'sports beer', 2% alcohol or something. It'd explain why I get through about 100 pints at a test match and just feel waterlogged.
“At the heart of Ilicali’s plans to lift the Tigers out of their recent malaise remains the community, with a desire to see the MKM Stadium brimming with enthusiasm and every seat taken when the side are in action, tapping into the huge catchment area surrounding the city which makes it one of England’s biggest regions. There’s a willingness to encourage more youngsters from right across the community to come and support the Tigers with a ticket pricing policy aimed at attracting fans from all corners of the area. It’s acknowledged that Ilicali needs to bring the whole Tigers community together if he’s to ensure the club reaches the heights he aspires to reach, and work is already underway to ensure that happens.“
Don't think they do it here. They have done it in Europe. There was a story a few years back that Aston Villa fans had been given alcohol free beer at a match in Germany and the police were laughing as tge Villa lot acted as if they had supped a skinful of proper stuff.
