    Saturday 3pm

So we're back and well, might as well have a match thread.

The squad for the game is pretty much set by the injuries. And Shaw I think is one of them. So the team I put forward is:

    -----------------------DDG
    --------Lindelof----Baily----Maguire----
    AWB---------McT--------VDB--------Telles
    Sancho------------Ronaldo--------Rashford

I don't even want to post Ole's pre-match talk. All anyone needs to know is, it was God awful.

Prediction - it's sucking the life out of me.

    Enjoy <ok>

Disgusting display. The collapse is almost unprecedented as the players have downed tools. “Not playing for the manager” has been coined for a performance like this. To make Watford seem like Barcelona at their prime take some doing. Will the board now get off their backsides and agree some sort of severance agreement with manager? The players have clearly decided they don’t want to play for him. They simply don’t want to wait till the end of the season.

Could be a Beth Ditto aria here for Ole. Unfortunately.

4-1. Dereliction of duty from the players especially Maguire. What clearer indication that the ****ing board members and the owners need that we need a change of manager immediately? Do your ****ing duty ffs and make the change. I said they will regret not acting during the international break and this is the ****ing confirmation.

And if the ****ing board members are spineless then Ole himself must go. Completely gone as the team look rudderless.

Pogba, Ronaldo, Ole. Those are three problems, right there. I have no idea why you bought Ronaldo when you could have brought in two (desperately needed) central midfielders. It was a crazy decision based, I take it, purely on commercial lines.

Despite what some people think, Rogers could be a good manager for you. No Fergie, but, then, who is?

Moyes: the one that got away.

    Words fail me.

They did **** all over the international break and we're just as ****e after as we were before.

What the **** did they think would happen? That there would be a magic spell and it would all be OK?

Now we'll have to go cap in hand to a bloke whose team just got beaten 3-0 at home ffs.

The story of Utd post Fergie. Never got the top man at the time but whoever was available to pick the team from the gutter. We’ve reached a familiar situation.

Sometimes you’d like to see Ole show a bit of passion in the dug out. Like Arteta and Klopp having handbags. Lift the players. But Ole is so passive and downcast. A 12 year old wouldn’t be scared of him, never mind some hard nosed international players.

This is where money has ruined football in general. I remember old times when managers would leave on their own accord. But because of payouts, nowadays they simply hang in there even as everything wrong then go to complete sht. They would rather watch the club destroyed than do the right things and leave with pride.

I think what we saw today was more than this. What I think's happened is there's been real "behind the scene" contact from United towards other managers and those within the club including the players either know about it or know the rumours have some merit. And what we saw today was players knowing the bloke in charge is on borrowed time.

I've been a big critic of Ole over the past 18 months, BUT the way the board have treated him over the past couple of weeks and the repercussions we're seeing today as a result, and the manner in which he'll end up leaving, was completely uncalled for. They've thrown him under the bus.

Exactly what I thought might happen. If this is true. A truly responsible club makes a decision and gets a replacement promptly because in football uncertainty is damaging.

I'm convinced they knew he was leaving before today's match.

Sky sports claiming no decision has been made?
A very strange comment, unless they have to wait and inform the stock market first.

Nah mate, they are genuinely clueless cretins.

I actually had a feeling they'd have a meeting, not know what the fck to do, and end up not making any decision.

They should all be thrown in the skip.

This ****ing board know a lot about finance and sponsorships and money and ****all about football and how it works in the real world. Once Gill (and Fergie) left, this club had no one with any football knowledge and experience at the top.

Apparently after the board meeting they are still undecided. Why am I not surprised? What the **** do they need further?
