It's good this isn't it .. the governing body set a penalty then negotiate with the club to see what they will accept... what a crock of shyte !
That'll be because 9 points would put them only 1 above us and with our rocket to take off (hopefully) that would leave them in the bottom 3...
Sky are also doing there best to help them out , rock bottom club on sky 4/5 times live between now and christmas.
I've been in the wrong end down there a couple of times. Anyone doing so needs to be careful. The natives aren't very hospitable when things aren't going well.
Doomed...? Where is the fit and proper owner test when you need it? https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sp...ounty-administration-liquidation-hmrc-6290750
It is staggering they owe so much, I cannot see HMRC cutting what is owed by a large amount, as that just sets a precedence, which other clubs can take advantage of in the future. It will be interesting to see what happens.
I met Carl Jackson when he was joint administrator for Aldershot Town. His firm is based down here and I know quite a few of the IPs. He will get a deal with HMRC, maybe not a quarter but a workable deal.
If we were on that many times our fans would be saying ****ing SKY, altering kick offs, making crowds be lower...
