please log in to view this image After last weekend's rather disappointing result at Norwich, Saints find themselves on the road once again, this time with a somewhat more difficult task to collect the points with a trip to Anfield. While most pundits would put this down as an easy win for a team that plays its home matches in red, we have played some of our better football this season so far, against teams we are not expected to get anything from. Without making a prediction, I am always in hope of a positive result, no matter what the opposition.
I'll stay prediction free and in a positive frame of mind. Our results against teams where little or nothing was expected reinforce that. Good news about Reddo and Stuepot would be welcome.
The dream team in charge, what could possibly go wrong? Saturday 27th November Liverpool v Southampton 15:00 KO Referee: Andre Marriner. Assistants: Simon Long, Scott Ledger. Fourth official: Kevin Friend. VAR: Lee Mason. Assistant VAR: Simon Beck.
My waters are frozen today so no predictions. We can be a bogey side for the scousers so here's hoping
Going to this and really looking forward to it. Never been to Anfield before and can just enjoy it and hope we can make life difficult for Liverpool.
I'd be interested to hear what you make of the famous Anfield atmosphere. I went a few years back and was expecting it to be a cracking and intimidating atmosphere. However, after what was an admittedly impressive YNWA before kick off the home fans and atmosphere was bloody awful... even when they were winning! Biggest let down in terms of atmosphere for me.
My dreams are many and various, mostly unrealistic about winning a fortune, Saints winning trophies, and stuff like that!
In 1976 I had a dream that I was in Wembley watching the Queen handing the FA Cup to the Saints Captain! It turned out it wasn't a dream...
