Commenting on Pete getting abuse in the tags, most likely from people he has on ignore, and that usually post on the prem board we stay away from. I'm under threat of a ban for the same thing, apparently it's **** stirring. I suspect the people on the Norwich board and posters on here would be happy to see him back. EDIT: It looks like Mick's had a word, because Dunc's ban has ben overturned, but Pete is still banned for being doxxed and abused by people that still just flood the board with pap.
Boring definitely better than being a brain dead Jock whose first words were fùck cùnt – the last act of his unknown father.
The Sensible Party being the ultimate political Oxymoron... should rebrand as the Spamfest party so as to get back in touch with it's corpse support (damn that predictive text functionality)
Succinct and to the point. Well done you. It only took you 6 months to learn the basics, another well done for what surely is a personal best.
I'd settle for @Pete_ being put in a dinghy in the Thames and sent back to Hull on the next tide tbh.
A proper landlubber’s understanding of how the tides work. I thought you came from Southampton but perhaps it was some council estate on the North side of the city. The dinghy would flow out of the Thames as the tide left but the only way it would navigate to Hull is if those aboard rowed North as the prevailing flow of the water/tides in the North Sea is Southward.
And you are not a seafarer either. Sailing on the tide meant leaving when there was sufficient draught for a ship to leave it's berth. It comes from a time before mechanical dredging sorted the problem.
It did not take six seconds to realise that you are a brain dead Jock with the attention span of a gnat who could not handle anything longer than a text message.
My late grandfather was a marine engineer. During World War II he sailed on a number of Atlantic Convoys. If you go and throw a corked bottle in the Thames with a note in it, the only way it will end up in Hull is in somebody fishes it out and carries it there.
You cannot even read: “as the tide left” did not mean “sailing on the tide”. Since the vessel in question was a dinghy, the draught is irrelevant. Clearly your head is in need of some mechanical dredging as it is full of sludge.
