I believe 220,000 houses have lost electricity... apparently its too windy to use cherry pickers etc to fix cables. Tomorrow at the earliest to restore power. 9.45am no messages to indicate when fixed.

Local pub not too far away is okay..we are going there for lunch and to see if we can charge our devices. Playing/teaching chess to g'son atm.

Well I really enjoyed yesterday at Cambridge. First of all catching up with some old friends at the Cambridge brew house. Good to see everyone looking so well. Onto the match and what a following we had given the atrocious weather conditions and the hassle people had getting to the match. Brilliant . A very solid performance overall. The players grafted all game and dug out a cracking result in horrible conditions. Big shout out to Gooch who was thrown in at the last minute and had one of his better games out on the right hand side. The back 4 who were under pressure 2nd half put everything into the game :emoticon-0165-muscland finally the goalkeeper Hoffman. Horrible conditions for a goalkeeper put himself about at the corners punching clear very well and made a couple of cracking saves. The players are definitely playing for Johnson who got things right yesterday. I think Gooch was probably a better fit than Evans gave us a little more pace on the flanks. Finally to our supporters who roared the lads on 2nd half when we were up against it got right behind the players when it was difficult going and the players responded magnificently. A cracking away day. Well done everyone. :emoticon-0148-yes:

The house at the top of the bank coming up from the Red Lion is my work. Next to the hairdressers where the house has been extended. Just done about half a mile fencing there, mainly around the back of it.

I'm off until February, now. I'm going away next week and don't get back until the end of January. They'll have to sellotape their fences back together until I'm back home.
