My mates dad was in the original Star Wars, still gets requests from virgins asking for autographs. I’ll get him to send you a dick pic or something
The Beatles. Get back Peter Jackson's marathon documentary using footage from 1969 shot while the Fab four worked on the Album Let it be. Absolutely fantastic insight into the groups process. Worth a watch if only for the multiple jamming sessions. It's a slog though and sometimes feels like Jackson could have edited a few minutes/hours off it but it is, mostly, no holds barred look at a band on the way to total breakdown but still trying to keep it together to make some excellent music. The famous rooftop gig is a must watch even if you skip the previous 6 hours or so. 9/10
The very chap. He also put an extra half an hour on the end of The return of the king. I think he just doesn't know when to stop tbh.
Serenity is the film Starwars wishes it was. You'll find Firefly the series it's based on on Tinternet. Watch that too.
I've been watching it, can't say I'm a fan of the band but like everyone there's a few songs I like. It is interesting though seeing how they create the songs and how it shows that they've clearly had enough of each other. Lennon just looks like he wants to be somewhere else throughout and isn't really that involved. McCartney is flogging a dead horse throughout and Harrison is just a moaning lil bitch. I've only seen the first episode though.
Tbf most of the time they are mostly stoned or pished. Ringo is seldom awake and McCartney wants everything done his way. Mind you he does seem to be doing 90% of the work. I'm at a loss, even watching every single minute of footage, how every song McCartney wrote was credited on the Album as Lennon and McCartney tbh.
