Thanks for your efforts Grant, you will be a success somewhere else now. I’ve supported McCann for most of his tenure here, I’ve believed that he has performed well (with an obvious exception 18 months ago) amid extenuating circumstances and has been criticised stupidly for things he hasn’t done. And I’ll be honest, he gave me one of my favourite City afternoons for several years last Saturday, so I’m more emotionally invested in him than others. Good luck big man!
Really honest statement that from Acun. Nothing wrong with wanting his own team and I completely agree with him to not just wait for a defeat so it's more acceptable to do so
In hindsight, it was never going to be for Grant. A new owner comes in with his own vision on how to run a club. Grant was Sacked Manager Walking for months.
The more Acun talks to the fans like this the more respect he will achieve. Thanks Grant...time to move forward now.
It’s a great explanation from Acun in fairness, very fair. If we’d have lost this coming Saturday then fans would have been calling for his head again. We’ve wanted change in the club for a long time, early days but we have to trust their judgement. Onwards and upwards, UTT
Good, clear statement from Acun. Now give us some clarity on the embargo & get some quality signings on the pitch
If you take away the 2019/20 season & the abysmal performances. He’s done a half decent job, I’d say 6/10, but if you don’t take 19/20 away, it’s 3-4/10 at best! Thanks Grant, enjoy your time away from football.
Nicely worded statement from Acun, said with feeling and honesty. Good luck to Grant & Cliff I'm sure they will be in work very soon.
Agreed and all that was required was an honest, definitive message from the new owner. That's happened now and puts the matter well and truly to bed...
I wanted Terry out after the relegation, I made that plain on here. What I will thank him for is giving us a Title that many men tried but failed to give us. Even though I wanted him out I sincerely hope he gets a good Club next.
Very good statement from Acun, nice to see some transparency for the first time in 8 years. Refreshing even if the decision for the most part is harsh. Can't really argue with his justification because of how well he has explained the decision.
