Home games will be massive. Get points on the board and make the SOL a difficult place to play. No doubt the likes of Norwich, Watford & Sheff Utd will be string. Expect teams like Huddersfield, Blackburn & North Yorkshire FC to be pushing for top 8 but there's no reason we can't be comfortably mid-table with the right investment. I cannot face the prospect of a relegation battle (or worse) but am confident we have the right people in charge at the club.

I am quietly confident we will have a season to enjoy, but keeping my expectations low, and hoping we don't hit anything unforeseen , cant wait to get started tbh.

completely different prospect to div 3, we have been used to teams that could just as easily win 5-0 at a canter then lose 6-0 the next game or could go on a run (winning or losing) then suddenly changing it round, going to be much tighter games i reckon with little of the time wasting antics.

be happy not to end up flirting with relegation and steady build towards premier, mid table obscurity should be minimum aim.

Not getting carried away, honestly with the average age of our squad anything above relegation is absolutely fine. Get the youngsters some experience, add some quality next summer, and then we can really push on.

Having said that, I'm quietly confident we won't be worrying too much about relegation. I reckon somewhere between 10th - 16th, which is absolutely fine for a relatively young squad having their first season in the league, imo.

I will be disappointed, a little, if we arent challenging for the play offs. I dont see a raft of teams that are miles ahead of us. I think a lot of the championship will be tightening belts. The teams that have come down, in my opinion, arent like Fulham and have a Mitrovic.

We have a manager previously promoted from this league. He got Preston competitive. He knows what is needed and wont settle for a squad that wont have the ability to compete. In the likes of Stewart, Pritchard, Roberts, Cirkin, Neil, Embleton, Baath, Gooch we already have championship ready players. We will add more quality. I am excited to get going.

Gone for option 2 but really would be happy with a top half finish, I'm confident we could achieve that!

After seeing Huddersfield and Luton almost hoof their way to the PL I'm expecting us to have a decent chance tbh.

I've said for a while I'd be happy with a mid table no drama season... however, I get the feeling that the mid table part isn't good enough for the owner.

I very much doubt that KLD or AN will be settling for us being mid table.
I don’t think we will make automatic places but think we could make the playoffs if our recruitment is solid and we don’t have bad injuries.
Others have said it previously but when we get everyone pulling together then this club will take some stopping at Championship level.

I'd be happy with mid table which will give time for the squad to be evaluated before pushing for promotion the following season, subject to funding available of course

Bang on… That’s why I’m desperate for us to start the season well, we’ve already got momentum with a brilliant unbeaten run currently ongoing…

    Yeo, agreed mate,
Getting off to a good start and thereby continuing last season’s run would build confidence for the squad and the fan base.

I've gone for 7th-12th, a nice solid season with no worries about relegation and we keep building the momentum on the pitch.
