Great to hear from you again, Nass, hope you will have the time to post regularly again when the NH season starts in earnest. Won't comment on ownership, none of my business, but really hope the horse does well for you. Think I can make a good guess who the trainer is, or will be! All the very best! <cheers>

    P.S. Am surprised Stick didn't suggest blue-and-white 'superhoops' silks? <whistle> :emoticon-0100-smile

Certainly is. Chesterfield FC shirt colours very rich shade of dark blue! Very interesting how the word Spireites came about:

Chesterfield football club and their fans are nicknamed the Spireites; they are called so because of the outstanding architectural imperfection that adorns a church in the centre of town. The crooked spire. It is very much Derbyshire's answer to the leaning tower of Pisa.

Bookies wouldn't take much cash on the trainers name! He is in training with Fergal, and I was up seeing him yesterday.

    Silks are blue and red.

Very, very, very sad news, wasn't it. RIP Mr Ponsonby.

On a brighter note - good luck with the new horse.
