The good thing is today proved we have a few decent players and there’s every chance that a new boss can get us some results … if we can just find a way to score goals The clubs inability to sign a decent striker in the summer might cause any new manager problems and we could all see that was going to be an issue A little ironic that the main issue that has ended Ralph’s stay is not solely of his making Although our ability to engineer defeats in so many different ways also needs to stop Time to draw a blue line, get on a different bus and control the controllables
It's embarrassing mate. The stewards really need to sort their **** out. The atmosphere is beginning to turn and fans will fight amongst themselves as we're playing so ****e. Exactly the same happened in 04/05.
Went for a pee HT & the steward next to me didn’t wash is hands, which I thought was pretty disgusting & very unprofessional. Have mentioned.
There were absolutely **** loads of Geordies in and around us, some openly chanting and celebrating. it’s funny given the club issued a statement midweek about trying to tackle the issue.
Couldn't agree more mate. Especially about the club pissing off the people it will be relying on if we go down. It's quite remarkable that no one at the club sees this tbh.
They're probably so blinkered that they think that either we're too good to go down, or that the fans they've pissed off so much will announce unwavering support. In short, they take the fans for granted in my opinion.
I'd go further mate. They treat us as an annoyance, something to be tolerated at best. Determined to make us a day out event rather than a football club. I'm fuming after yesterday.
Gone, but nothing on the Saints OS yet https://www.southamptonfc.com/news/...-part-company-with-ralph-hasenhuttl-statement
I must`ve been watching a different game to some others. Difference between the sides was the finishing. Their shots ended just inside the post, ours just outside. Small margins and all that. I can`t remember Baz having to make any saves. The Theo thing just didn`t work - it was easy for their defence with Theo playing in front of them, rather than on their shoulders making them turn and face their own goal.
See to me it is a bit weird. AA could have played the Theo role, playing up with Che. IU think that may have worked better than Theo, just because Theo is literally done at this level. Academic now he has finally gone.
Would anyone care to do a Wednesday thread for, er, Wednesday? New era, lots of bittersweet hope tinged with regret? Go on, you know you want to.
