This is all so tiresome. I've got to the point where I couldn't give a **** if he stays or goes.

Absolutely, I couldn't give a tinkers feck if Beale goes or stays, I am sick and tired of the consent rumours he will for ever be on starters orders to depart our club.
We will always be QPR no matter whose the manager

Seems an odd move for him to me, but that's for him to decide.

I'm not too fussed personally. I think Beale is really good but I also think we've got a great young squad and other good managers will be able to get a song out of them. Critchely a great shout imo.

Out of interest why do you think it would be an odd move for him and if you think he is really good, why wouldn't you be fussed if he left? I am not having a go, but that doesn't really add up for me.

Ultimately he wants to manage in the big time, and that's not the SPL. He can get to the PL by doing well where he is, or by doing well at Rangers. It's possibly easier to prove he's done well in the championship given he's got the backing already and has made a good start already - vs finishing 2nd or 1st in a two horse race in a second rate league. The only way he can do well there is winning, and that's challenging given Celtic's dominance in recent history. So if we consider both clubs an interim job, I don't see Rangers as the most logical.

I won't be too fussed as the club have made two great managerial appointments in a row and I trust SLF to make a third. I think as a club we're on the right trajectory, in the best city in the world, and so will be an attractive proposition to lots of up and coming managers.

I will answer this as well as Raving. He has only been in a management role for 2 minutes. So takes over a very poor Rangers squad(confirmed by my work colleague) potentially no improvement and ultimately getting shown the door "do one". His dream in tatters and no one touches him, as has zero track record and no loyalty. That's why it's a gamble. Stay with Rs cannot fail as no budget get them promoted instant hero, mid table done a decent job on 1st management role. Reason not ultimately bothered we have a decent squad so I think bring in the right person and we will be fine.

Would we really want Critchley ? Left Blackpool to replace Beale as Villa's number 2 behind Gerrard. What's to stop him doing the same thing if someone else comes in for him ? Let's try and get Chris Wilder, get a striker in in January and I reckon he could get us in top 6 come May.

Rangers are closing in on the appointment of Michael Beale as their new manager after a deal was agreed with QPR.
The Athletic reported on Saturday that the Scottish Premiership side had been given permission to speak to the 42-year-old about replacing Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

And Beale arrived in Glasgow on Sunday evening after Rangers agreed to pay the asking price to release him from his current contract in west London.
He had made it clear that he was keen to speak to the Ibrox club and while a deal is still to be finalised, there is an expectation on all sides that it will happen.
Beale’s connection to Rangers and his relationship with their sporting director Ross Wilson were key factors behind his decision to leave QPR on this occasion.

Michael Beale you broke our heart,
having just arrived, you chose to depart.
You spoke of loyalty & trust, that you like so much,
one month later and your on the bus.
A lack of trust will be linked to your name,
for as long as we follow, this beautiful game.
Off you go to your chosen club,
knowing you left us in a pile of mud.
You have delivered nothing but strife & lies,
So don’t waste our time with your shallow goodbyes.
