Not a mention in the BBC story about what he said when he turned down Wolves. SLF doesn’t mention it either.
Those words about integrity and loyalty are going to haunt his managerial career.
On another point, Why would you turn down the Premier League in favour of managing in the SPL? If he does well at Rangers, he’d probably only end up being poached by someone like Wolves! Mate, you should have gone to Molineux or at least kept your gob shut about loyalty and integrity.
Three defeats in a row would suggest Rangers have got themselves a costly flash in the pan. Him and his wart can do one.

Oh well, at least we now know.
In SLF we trust (cos we have no choice!).
I'll decline to pour vitriol over the man. He's done what he thinks is right for his career and, presumably, right for his family.
Can't say I wish him ill as most of us don't really care about Scottish footie anyway?!

First question at his press conference unveiling: “What happened in the last five weeks that made you lose the integrity and loyalty you spoke about so passionately”

    Very disappointed.

I completely misjudged the man, gave him the benefit of the doubt right upto 45 mins ago, mug.

I just hope his Wolves speech rings in the ears of our players (and indeed any other player) he tries to persuade to work with him in Glasgow.

Fair to say most of us will be hoping Celtic romp to the title with a records points difference, do the treble and Beale is shown the door - let's hope the sheep-shaggers fron Aberdeen can get second place and really rub it in

I'm probably in a minority but I'm not too gutted about this. Do I think Beale has the makings of a good coach? Yes, absolutely. We've seen the evidence of this. Is he the finished article? Absolutely not as we saw from losses to Coventry, Huddersfield and (in particular) Hull and Blackpool. We're 7th, not top with a 6 point gap to second.

I think the fact Beale came to us - and did well at first - is as much of a reflection of where the club is at now as it is about him as a coach. We have a good group of young players who are getting better, and our finances are in order. That allowed us to recruit in key areas with the likes of Paal and Clarke-Salter joining in the summer. Between Willock, Chair and Dieng there is some good value in the squad, little of which was built by Beale. That, plus our location and general trajectory, makes us a very attractive proposition to any good manager out there - including the likes of Critchely, who would be my top pick.

Those of us sad to see Warburton go were pleased with what we saw from Beale and I'm sure we can all be pleased again - especially bearing in mind SLF has picked good managers to date.

As for Beale - I think it's an odd choice for him and short-sighted but that's no longer our concern or care. I wish him no ill-will but it's hard to see him doing well out of this imo.

PS - Forgot the training ground, that's for more exciting than any manager.

What's your view on his speech about loyalty and expecting others to be the same etc etc?
    He's a treacherous ****.

Just finished work and seen this news. We seemed to be heading in the right direction, and making progress, but not without some blips and poor performances. I'd be disappointed to see him go if it weren't for the way he's gone. To make such a big song and dance of turning Wolves down, going on about the importance of integrity, and then leaving so soon after to go to Rangers is just bizarre and makes him look very shallow.

As I mentioned earlier, a strange decision but I wish him well and hope he enjoys freezing his ass off away to Ross County just before Christmas.
