''There’s also been stories doing the rounds of him being in Rangers pubs in London watching their Champions League games with fellow fans at the time their manager was obviously coming close to getting the sack – an “open secret” up there, I’ve been told this week.'' Clive's take on Beale. It's quite long but worth the effort ... Beale elects to take his ‘loyalty and integrity’ elsewhere after all – Column - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words (fansnetwork.co.uk)
The man totally just used us until the job came up, no intentions of staying & as for his ****ing speech about loyalty etc, the blokes a ****, only difference with Glasgow R is fan base, we’ve probably got a better side
Vydra has been a free agent all summer and still is, don't know where your getting your info from. Yes I mentioned Grabban too as he was a free agent also. There are plenty of possible strikers about as the list of foreign ones I posted pre season proved. There are too many people who just fall back on the stance that 20 goal a season strikers don't grow on trees. I agree that they are not easy to find but sometimes you have to take a chance on strikers that have been playing abroad in unproven leagues . Vydra would have appeared to be a no brainer, yes his wages might have been higher than our other strikers but we wouldn't have been paying a fee for him. Instead we went for that great goalscorer Roberts from Leeds on loan ! A ****ing inspired choice
We'll be without Chair and Dieng and no doubt 6 or 7 injury prone players. No doubt Amos has shattered his knee getting out of the shower !
Lot of hindsight at work there. Shame Clive didn’t share some of this stuff about Beale being a bullshitter (actually the gist of what Clive says is that Beale lied about not talking to Wolves and other stuff) when we decided to love him after the integrity bollocks. Would have been a tasty scoop.
I think he did say it - or at least alluded to it - in some of his reports. Especially the contradictions after what he said at the training ground fans meeting and then what he said after the following game. I know for sure that he wasn't a Beale 'happy clapper.'
To be fair I don’t read his stuff too closely or that regularly, so I’m sure you are right. Implied criticism retracted.
From what I’ve seen of him - given we didn’t even get half a season out of him - I think he’ll do well up in Glasgow. Also given his academy connections if he does well the rest of the year, maybe next Chelsea manager this Summer after Potter goes? just to really endear him to us.
I don't know how Beale can live with himself. If he had just said nothing and carried-on during the Wolves saga, I wouldn't feel so bad and unforgiving now. Hope the R's find a capable new manager. Afraid I won't be listening to the new guy's 'after match' comments, as I just won't believe a word he's saying. To hell with it all. Wonder what Beale's family think about having to up-stakes again and move to Glasgow from London?
I hope that the new manager says that they have everyone all in it and the manager says they're all in ... how about Emma Hayes! **** it .. go for it!
Shows his colours in his statement to the club. No offering of any reasoning behind his decision to throw his values, loyalty and integrity in the trash outside Loftus Road and jump ship. Seems to have totally left the players behind. They must be feeling mad at clapping him when he said he was not leaving. I would suggest getting life size cut-outs of ‘the snake’ so they can trash them how they like. Cathartic and a personal exorcism for them all.
