I was saying at the start of the season that I'd seen enough in Hume to think he would be our starting right back by the end of the season. I didn't realise he'd be one of our most consistent players whenever he's on the pitch. I think he's destined for the Premier League within the next 18 months, hopefully with us.

 

I just went to have a look to find that post and saw this posted a few minutes ago.

So, rather than judge the man on the job he's paid to do this crank despises another human being purely on the basis of gossip.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why RTG is such a minefield when imbeciles like deodrant2 get 'likes' and believe their views are anything but proof that the Internet allows social inadequates to spout their drivel with no appropriate action from so-called Moderators.

We all know how that was allowed to happen here recently and has now been thankfully resolved.

Why are people so bothered about other msg boards, people have opinions on rtg and people have opinions on here, what does it matter

Been a member a long time and used to post . This is a great time to be a Sunderland supporter we can the plan , not just the magic carpet ride but a real plan . We are bringing in young exciting players who would never have come to the cloud . For the first time we actually have a “5” year plan that will see us fans seeing some of the best prospects in the footballing world . We have already seen what the plan can do , when we got promoted everyone thought we would struggle but we haven’t and have gradually improved. So if we get promotion I believe the recruiting team knows what it is doing (if we can see it happening then surely they can) and they will have lots of options available .
We have seen this year every time we have worried about an injury there is always a player that stands up and proves us wrong.
So for me promotion to the premiership is not to be feared but embraced as this is where we should be and with the management team we now have we will continue to grow whatever happens .

In the past a manager saying we had a five year plan translated as,

"I have no plan, but please give me time before you criticise the mess I'm making of the job."

We really knew it was all nonsense but went along with it in desperation
