For me, with those on board, and everybody seeming to know what their role is and pulling together we are comfortably a top six side. Only question is whether we have left ourselves with too much to do.this season. If we can make MKM a fortress, who knows?

I think we have, and as someone else said, a top 10 finish would be more than fine. A good taste of how well we can go next season if we can get it all together from the start.

    Whoah cowboy.

Wel'll be top half. Which is a huge improvement from a polished 19th last time out enhanced by points deductions elsewhere. We may well push but a top 6 finish would be remarkable from where we've come from in footballing terms.

Remember we were in L1 the season before last.

And we were looking nailed on for the drop again a dozen games ago.

    Still lots to do.

Until starting today he’s played about 5 minutes of football since august so you’re quite right he hasn’t been the stand out player recently, I think that’s the problem.

It should have been checkmate, but I think he chose the wrong option and got lucky. Their defender managed to intercept it. Granted, at pace so didn’t have time to choose where to put it, but the deflection could have gone anywhere so a touch fortunate, when he should.have buried it.
Weird argument to be having (how he should have scored), but I think it was another example were Tufan wrongly chose not to shoot. When he first came, I think he would have.
Or maybe I’m talking complete bollocks

It's almost like we've sacked a manager, turned over a further chunk of playing personnel and recruited domestic talent since the summer window. Who would have thought that may be a good idea.

Remember when you lost your head at me for suggesting Shota was clueless and would be gone by the end of October? <laugh>

I remember you saying we shouldn't have sacked Grunt.

Shota bettered his points record and took us to safety after our own fans singing sacked in the morning at Grunt if that's what you're on about....?

I did under shota post wba when we had a back door leakier than Big Verns.

But no. You're wrong. I never thought we'd be in a relegation scrap come spring.

And I ain't the prick. ****ing tool.

Top half finish from ‘nailed on for the drop’ suggests we are a top six side. As I said, but have probably left it too late this season.
Are you going for the ‘how many arguments can I have at any one time’ award? Why don’t you try expressing your view as opinions rather than fact?

This squad will be top 6 with a couple of trimmings and additions,

Next season. It was never going to be a magical transformation as some seem to expect.

Look at Sir Alex's attrition rate over signings. Its like some expect better than that in our context which is just nuts.

Bickering between myself and Syd does generally have a point. We may be massively opposed but it's still an argument.

Chazz however is just a superfluous egotistical prick who can hardly compose a sentence, let alone make a reasoned argument. So let's draw a line between general aggro between passionate blokes who disagree and just a ****er being a perpetual ****ing ****er.

I enjoyed watching Slater today. I thought that he tied a lot of our play together and worked really hard.

Yeah, but the 'gerrit forward' crowd have been turning on young 50k recently haven't they?

Through no fault of his might I add.

He stitches stuff together like a player beyond his years.

They certainly can't say that he wasn't involved in that game.

Slater has been the championship 'find' of the season.
