Although he did get red carded for nearly decapitating Harry Wilson with a high boot when already 2-0 down, which then turned into a 7-0 home defeat.

Or just that with Greaves now favoured on the left we need competition for McLoughlin ?

We seem to be looking for a defender and winger.

If we can get Darlow and Simons in tomorrow, I'd be well happy. Not too fussed about any more, we're into panic signing territory

Think injuries back is the game changer tbh.

    Competition for keeper is needed.

Wouldn't bank on it being both, but he's made no secret of wanting pacey options on the flanks.

It's Nicholas Parson's Sale of the Century (one for the old timers :1980_boogie_down:) pick up a bargain in the great Hull City sale.

Need a good young striker prospect ? Why not try Jim Simms.

Want to takeaway a bargain winger? then why not try James Scott

Need a right back? Josh Emmanuel is your man.

HDM think he is. So I’d guess he’s not.

Is it just me that thinks we still need centre half (or centre back) cover? We're still just one injury away from Figs coming back in

Figs? Sometimes when the whole squad improves, so do individuals. Maybe this will be the case with him.

If we played as defensive as we did under Shota last season, Figs would be fantastic and exactly what we need. Heads everything, and there would be no space to exploit him dither

I don't think he's a bad defender but the ball at his feet is probably his weakest attribute and it's an incredibly important one under LR.

If a CB got injured, Greaves would be back central and Elder brought in, if we lost another CB I think we'd see Christie central and Coyle at full back

Good to hear he’s happy to join despite his lack of minutes. Shows he believes in Rosenior and the project

Not sure why. A prospect for the future maybe but wont make an impact this season.
Docherty and Slater wouldnt make the starting 11 of other teams pushing for promotion.

If we do sign Xavi Simons, is he the defensive midfielder we've all been asking for?
