    After 7 hours without a goal, where is the next one coming from? Unlikely to be Bonne, so how about trying something different? Bowyer's old diamond?
    AM-B;
    Clare, Hector, Ness, Sess;
    Morgan, Dobbo, Fraser, Henry;
    Leaburn, Kanu.
    ......................Zero chance I know, but the lone striker with 2 out and out wingers doesn't seem to be working, apart from the odd flash of brilliance from JR-S.

    While I'm very disapointed with Bonne, the fact that we managed no shots worthy of the name against Plymouth suggests we aren't being very creative either.At some point, you have to imagine someone will arrive to bundle the ball over the line, so I'm going for a win (1-0, not going to go OTT) but there are issue's all over the pitch now. I've got the chance to travel away again with the local non league outfit, so I'll probably be watching this on the mobile and then switching to updates when the match here kicks off. Not happy about it, but I've spent a lot of frustrated saturdays on the sofa yelling at the TV, and for my own mental health, I need something a bit more positive.(Plus the club named the Calella supporters 'man of the match' last week, and I want another award :biggrin:)

    I’m not disappointed with Bonne at all! - I expected jack ****e and that’s exactly what he’s delivered ! Anything he does get will be a massive bonus - in truth I’d rather use the youngsters :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Quite.
    We knew he'd be rubbish, and he is.

    Digressing a bit, I heard Stockley scored a goal around a month back (wherever he went). But apparently nothing since.
    Injured is he? Or just back to typical form.

    He was suppose to have a problem with his heel or joint ? Personally I’d rather the “head” master than Bonne , given the service he’d score more than Bonne

    Don’t let your disgusting mind muddy a sensible discussion- especially after what’s being said about you on ITTV <laugh>

    As this truly dour season draws towards its end the mathematics is getting pretty simple;
    We have 12 games left and we need 3 wins to get to 50 points; practical safety.

    Trouble is, we're unable to score goals.
    No goals, no wins.
    And no guarantee that the teams in the bottom 6 are going to continue to lose games.
    This is the time of the season when some of them at least will find some fight and begin to scrap out results.

    48 points should be enough I reckon, and if we lose on Saturday that target will start to look problematic, especially if we lose to Morecambe next Tuesday. 5 or 6 points from our next 3 games should be possible though if we play a more attacking game. I don't know why Henry doesn't get a chance, he's our only midfielder likely to score from outside the box, and his dead-ball delivery would give us a threat from set pieces. It's not as though Kilkenny has made himself undroppable.

    4-3-3. Same personnel. Disappointing. Very lightweight, with Kilkenny and Payne up against Accers, expect a difficult afternoon.

    It's pot luck then.
    Maybe something unexpected will happen. Maybe Stanley will have a bad day at the office.

    Happy with a point after being outplayed for the first 80 minutes. The afternoon was rescued by a sensational goal by Sess. AM-B was easily our MOM. We don't have a midfield; even Dobbo was poor, and we only threatened when Campbell came on and put over the only good crosses all game. Our goal threat is supposed to come from JRS and CBT but both of them flattered to deceive, and don't deserve to be automatic choices.
