After scraping a lucky draw at home to Stanley, it's fingers crossed and touch wood we get something from this one. The only time we threatened on Saturday was when we played 2 strikers, apart from Sess's thunderbolt. If we keep the same formation expect another dire performance.
Morecambe have something to play for so I think it will be a home win. Hopefully Sess’s super strike will be contagious.
No disrespect to the Shrimps, but if we can't get at least one away point against them then we deserve to go down. I would take 0-0 right now. We've taken 2 points from a possible 15 since mid-February, that's 0.4 points per game. Relegation form.
I only saw part of the Accrington game, part of which was the start of the second half, where they seemed to be battering us. On a run of what, nine without a win, at the Valley? Hard to see an away win tonight if we can barely manage a shot on target at home.
We've got 3 fit strikers, none of them can play the lone striker, why persist with the hope that it'll start working when it simply isn't? No-one expected Hales or SuperClive to play that role. The Valley will become a strikers' graveyard.
Morale is down , no team spirit, thin delicate squad - I don’t think other teams will worry about us too much now and would consider us as easy pickings , not sure how to break our downward spiral without a new owner and proper investment
Aren't teams in a tail spin supposed to go back to basics with 4-4-2? I don't know exactly how some individuals in the team would fit that pattern, but can it be worse than the last five games?
