QPR v Sunderland

Discussion in 'Queens Park Rangers' started by Northolt-QPR, Dec 18, 2011.

  1. First half, we struggled. But that all changed in the second half. We controlled every aspect of the game in the second half. We didn't look like losing. Bearing in mind that we had no Bale or Lennon.

How is it that everything Watford posts I disagree with (and no doubt vice versa)? I can't remember one single thing we've agreed upon. Its uncanny!

Still, hes 100% Rangers and knows his 'ball to be fair. Respect <applause>

We agreed on something once. I remember commenting that we finally agreed on something. It's not your fault- you're just incorrect on most things  . As it happens I agreed with Col that he's been disapoointing overall but said that he's looked decent in the majority of games that he's been played in the middle.

    Edit- we both like Faurlin.

You've not been outed as one of Hammersmith Blue's pseudonyms yet so your views can't be that extreme.

Nightmare fixtures complete, QPR hunt important festive points haul – full match preview
Wed 21st Dec 2011 00:39 by Clive Whittingham
After playing six of the league’s top eight sides in the last eight matches QPR start a run of games against supposedly more manageable sides with the visit of Sunderland to Loftus Road on Wednesday night.

Well then - do we think we'll start with Adel instead of Bothroyd?

    I think we will.

I wouldn't say they're mutually exclusive. I've put neither in my team but we could well start with both although I'd like to see DJ Campbell given their defence is a bit cumbersome.

    Is Jay not injured?
And Adel should start IMO, but I doubt he will.

I reckon the only change from the united game should be DJ in for Bothroyd (absolutely awful at the moment) and Adel in for Mackie (I'd just like to state that I thought Mackie was great on Sunday, skinned Evra alive every time, but I think the precision of Adel's passes could really set SWP free to make the runs in behind). Don't know where I stand on the Cerny vs Kenny question, head says Kenny but Cerny's been very good cover... although it's a shame he doesn't try to catch the ball more, he has a serious tendency to try to punch it clear which doesn't always work.

He's got talent, and he'll have chances against our defence.

And to be equally fair, we lost a good target man in Wickham at half time which effected our game plan too. Bramble had Adebayor in his pocket the whole game, our midfield were coping very well and to be honest, I don't remember our keeper being too tested either, even in the 2nd half.

It's all about opinions I guess but we looked as comfortable as we have all season on Sunday and that against a very good side and away from home. That it was your fans wanting the final whistle tells me that you weren't that much in control and we still offered a threat.
