Your opinion on mike ashley overall

This would be good. I quite liked that gadgie with glasses we used to have - can't think of his name. He used to communicate a lot more than these ****s do

This is true, and I really hope we consistently start doing both.

However, Ashley isnt keen on spending his money and reinvesting back into the squad as we all know (Carroll £35m, Maiga 'Failing a medical' as soon as Saylor got injured). So rather than spending money on improving the squad Ashley is relying on below average players do get the job done, thus harming our chances to win football matches.

 

He's using his evil talents to do good at our club now

 

The clubs finances are healthy and we are in the press for all the right reason so I'm happy but I always know he will do something to balls it up.

You've got to ask yourself one question. Would you rather have Ashley at the helm or the Venkys?

I'm pretty certain that all of us would rather have Ashley. So things could me much much worse.

 

Just the same. He will always be a **** for his early time here. The club was treat with a total lack of respect and I'd feel pretty shallow if I now turned round and said "that's alright" just because he has started doing his job properly and the club is finally doing ok. Little comes from constantly complaining though and we just have to hope we get a more respectable owner in the future who can run us similar to what we are now, with a smidgeon more respect for the clubs history, fans, and a little more passion.

 

Say what you like about him but he's much better than Fat Fred.

People from Wolverhamptom are refered to as yamyam's because of their accent.

Could be because they say "yam al'right yow am" meaning, "Your all right, you are".

Might not be this of course.

I always find it weird that we hold Chris Mort in such high regard. Much as his communication was far better he saw us still signing big contract players and not improving at all. I know there's still the argument that Ashley calls the shots and he may have jumped after realising that, but for all that Llambias is a horrible little man he's arguably had a much more successful spell as chairman.

 

Thanks AB my Daughter's made friend's with a lad at Uni and he's from there, she asked me and I had no idea they had a nickname.

 

My opinion is the success of the team since the championship year has been down to the players and managers rather than 'shrewed and sound footballing decisions' by Ashley. Basically hes been a bit lucky imo.

I think he has a geniune hate of Newcastle fans, a hangover from the bed sheet writing escapades following Keegangate. Splitting up the singing section, renaming SJP twice, vandalising SJP with sports direct ****e everwhere etc...

I reserve my final opinion of him until he leaves and we'll see where the club is then (and how much money he leaves in it)
