Tash here, not here on a wind up. I was really depressed about my life mainly because of my unemployment now stretching to 10 months. I had a promising interview today, and we got a great win and I feel so much better.

You must be going through something equally orgasmic with O'neill.

    You look fantastic under him.

I still we are better, and that we will finish 7th, but I reckon you will finish 8th or 9th.

Next season if both teams have decent investment, I see both of the north east teams, fighting for the Europa spots.

Your win against Man City, although the goal was lucky, I reckon Man City winning would have been a crime. You wanted it more, and got the win. A draw would have been IMO the right result, but for footballs sake, the right team won. And a great win vs Wigan. Scoring 4 goals away is fantastic, regardless of who it's against <ok>

Good luck with the job hunting mate. Honestly.

Its been many a year since I was made redundant and was looking for work but I well remember its soul destroying effects. Don't get down though and keep looking.

As for the footy, 5 weeks ago you'd have seemed more happy in comparison to how we were. Lol. MoN has lifted everything and we beat Man City with 2 midfielders as full backs and we lost our best defender after 30 mins as well. I think a top 10 finish is our realistic target and anything better a bonus. We cant maintain this run with a paper thin defensive squad and lack of proven striker. If we address these issues in the next 3 weeks, then who knows.

You fully deserved that win tonight and the only downside of course is the loss of Ba for 5 or 6 weeks (6 games maybe) and thats going to hurt you. He has been sensational this season.

PS - For future reference, its in my Not606 contract that I am the only one allowed to have a dramatic exit and comeback, so pack it in. Lol

Dont move to Boro if you are looking for a job, its dead and has been for years, get the chronicle 800 jobs, get the gazette in boro its lucky to have 20 in the thing, its dire.

I would move back up tomorrow, but my wife and all her family is down here, kids settled in school etc so im a bit stuck down here, Job wise, worse thing i could have done (give up a good job to do it as well) family wise, best thing i could have ever done, so catch 22 for me.

Well the interview I had today, was for a receptionist/administrator in a hotel.

It sounded promising because the woman interviewing me seemed quite happy when I mentioned how my experience related to the role, and also the fact that I researched the hotel and told her what I knew about it.

I did my homework. So much want this job. Local, 20 hours a week, shifts changing every week, decent pay.

Don't want to get my hopes up though.

If you're serious Tash, I would tell you what I told my oldest son.
He was after a job in web design, sitting on his arse playing on computers and XBox all day and night, being subsidised by me.
I told him to get his finger out and go and take any job he could.
When he came up with the no jobs going lark, I made him print up some cards and stick them through local doors offering to do odd jobs.
I had the petrol strimmer and mower, a big bag of tools so he had no outlay.
He was soon earning a couple of hundred a week and got the taste for money.
He even took a barmans job at night on top.

He's now employed in IT as he was still applying for jobs, but could stick on his CV he wasn't just sitting on his arse and was willing to work.

If you're not greedy and charge just for your time and perhaps tool hire you can earn a canny penny.
And still be a hell of a lot cheaper than a pro.

I still get phone calls from local people even now, who are following up on recommendations for the boy to do small jobs for them.

Some are glad you're back, I can understand you offer some sort of entertainment but think you've made an utter tit of yourself this time around.

'Ban me, ban me. I need a job and spend too long getting abused on here... Bla bla bla.'
