Some Scottish comments off other forums..

    * If his time up here is any indication, he'll get them playing, do a decent job for about a season, then start flirting wildly with every half decent job that comes up, then 'commit' himself to his present club before leaving suddenly for a slightly less good job than the one he wanted, destabilise his old club by trying to tempt their best players away, then fail epicly and get sacks, staying out of the game for about 18 months, then doing it again!

Guy has the loyalty of a bigamist.

Good luck Rovers, you'll need it!

    * Won't take you long to realise. He will walk into the other mob and want everything done his way from the start, with no room for compromise. He managed to alienate almost everyone at Aberdeen within a few weeks and towards the end of his time they lost a match 9-0 to Celtic, the players just hated him. Every season he sat back and signed no one until a few weeks before the season started. He's also incredibly arrogant and more than once told journalist to go and look him up on Wikipedia and then they could question his record! He is just an utter tosspot and it won't take you long to realise that.

    * Your neighbours have just appointed the biggest idiot in British football.

I hope these Scottish lads are wrong...honest.

Every manager, especially of his age and experience, will have failed at some point. If you ask any of the others, it wont read anywhere near as bad as that. Wiz, Gary Johnson was a legend for the ****, yet you ask Northampton their opinion and it will be vastly different.

Very predictable of Wize this. They would have jumped at mcghee over milllen. We will have to wait and see who has the best Scottish manager with the best pedigree in Bristol. Certainly looks like McInnes bubble has burst though

Manga, how can you be so hurtful,I've only shown what other of his fellow countrymen have said and think,I think you honest, blue few deserve the truth..

With regards to the comparison of your Scottish manager that Herr Higgs rushed out to get to copy Bristol City, how can you compare Debbie with Delboy, she left Aberdeen under a dark cloud,Del left St Johnstone in the top 6 of the Scottish PL...

Having had experence in Scotland, he'll be very able to cope with League 2 in England. I think he'll be great for us, and we're lucky to get him.

not worried at all about the gas, but a week later 21.2.12 we are away to swindon who have just bought rooney from the gills and today constable from oxford. i suspect swindle may go up as champions.

how is matty h's ankle, will he be back soon, i hope so. floreat salopia. our strikers may be on form on 14.2.12, last time they were on form was october, so it might be a goalfest
