Swap for Naughton ? He has been awesome for us and it would take silly money to prise him away from CR .......

 

More rubbish rumours dave, even if it was remotely thinkable, which I can´t believe it is, it´ll never happen with just two days left in the window. If he has enquired, my guess is he´ll have had the same answer as Rangers did about Holt.

Adebayor has hardly been pulling up any trees though to be honest, I think Mozza has scored as many as him this season with far fewer chances so I'm not the slightest bit surprised 'arry might be looking for a big striker.

Moro has done a great job for us but with the greatest respect to him, I don't think he's good enough for Spurs. If he did go all he'd do is warm the bench.

What about swapping him for Tevez AND Andy Carroll. I don't think thats as outrageous as Liverpools offer. I know they play for different clubs but I'm sure we can make arrangements.

Agreed. There really does seem to be a camaraderie at the club atm and the players really do want to play for both NCFC and Lambert--and the board want the same. What happens in the summer we can only guess at, because it all depends on our league and financial position at that time, but I do get the feeling that most, if not all, the players we have would want to at least see out the current campaign.

 

I could live with Morrison leaving in return for naughton and cash, remember that strikers sell way above defenders, so say:

Morrison = Naughton (est. £4m) + £6m (which we then spend on Rhodes), a good ROI for a player who cost £2.5m

Not as though we have difficulty scoring!!! Should be improved with Howson signed (when fit), Vaughan, and now Jackson on fire...

Rather see the future of our defence confirmed, and Naughton is invaluable in his ability to play right and left back

This must be about the punch up with Tierney (terrible rumour). I don't think clubs like Spurs would be interested, the forward I reckon they'll be replacing over the summer will be Defoe, they'll be on the market for a nippy out and out forward someone who is around early to mid 20's.

lol to be honest with you his not got a bad return on goals for how many appearances his had. I reckon Spurs will go along the continental route.
