    Just how bizarre can things get? The Beeb have a headline saying that Mapps is going no where, but when you read the bit that follows it doesn't say that at all.

    Pardew says that he has made a final bid, yet Watford say they haven't received it.

    Watford may make signings before the deadline, but does that depend on Mapps going?

    Good job we are not playing a match tonight. <yikes>

    Well SSN are saying Wigan have had an offer accepted, but the BBC are saying otherwise and there is no news anywhere else.

    I think we need to follow RookeryMike's advice

    So annoying to lose Sordell potentially at this late stage.

    I accept he is our prized asset and always likely to leave but no doubt we'll try to get a deal rushed through so we don't get what we can.
