Truth is that Roy Keane is not at present good manager, I accept. But that may not always be the case.

As a player he was good, hard and stood up for the Man U cause, and you Leeds lot hate him for it.

Billy Bremner, Norman (bites your legs) Hunter? cut from the same cloth in my opinion, so wind your Yorkshire necks in!

If you get Keane, he won't give a monkeys about any abuse you give him, he'll just keep taking and spending all your money, HA!

Your board has just fired off a perfectly good manager, so you get what you deserve.

You don't have a divine right to be successful, accept what you are, a decent Championship side going nowhere fast!

Roy Keane is not a person many people wish to have anything to do with, and for that reason I would suggest he is finished as a manager of a professional football club of any note.

He should be finished in any position in football. He's a rubbish manager, he talks rubbish when interviewed and he's a rubbish tv critic. People say they like him because he's not affraid to speak the truth whilst he was Ipswich manager but their is a difference between the truth and speaking your own mind and in his mind the world is against him and every decision he makes he makes with a massive chip on his shoulder. The only thing I could see him being good for is advertising lemons!!!

The trouble is he's a bully, you only need to look at how the press treat him when interviewing him, the previous ITFC manager who'd been at Ipswich for 7 years, was Ipswich through and through and although was a bit fiery had a sense of humour, yet the press treated him badly at the end. Then when you here the press talking to Keane, he's rude to them and yet they're all so thankful or apologetic towards him, it makes me sick!!

IMO you will never be successful as a manager in any position dealing with people unless your a people person and by Keane's own admission, he's not a people person.

Bremner, Hunter et al. never deliberately broke someone's leg.

I wouldn't disagree with one word of that. Add to it, the despicable way he treated us Irish fans in Saipan. I've wondered could anything stop my supporting of Leeds United, probably not, but the appointment of that bastard Keane would certainly be the ultimate test for me

Keane will never manage a top level football team again, if anyone has any sense at least. I hated him being appointed Town manager right from the start, from the time he insulted our club during the initial press conference, objecting to us being too much of a family club.
It surprised me how many Town fans supported him as our manager during his early reign and how long it took them to realise he was just no good. He was only appointed as a publicity stunt, we never seemed to be out of the headlines with him.

My sentiments exactly, I was completely against the appointment from the start but I could see why some were excited about the appointment but was amazed by how long it took for people to realise that he was a terrible football manager, I would imagine that after the first couple of months when he sold Jordon Rhodes for nothing people would have realised!!
