    I will always remember Pulis as the manager who bought, wait for it, C A M E R O N J E R O M E, <laugh> Bad manager, ****ing ****e tactics.
The long throws have just about been handled by every other team and he hasn't got a ****ing clue what to do next.
As for the FOUL on Meyler, what would we be saying if the lad didn't jump??

I agree. If we had a midfield of Jermaine, Glenn, Palacios and Matty then we'd look pretty strong. One thing I will say for Pulis, Matty's form isn't down to him. Matty hasn't been right since he got injured against Wolves last April, before then he was absolutely flying and playing superbly well. Pennant was excellent at the end of last season as well. Huth is a bit of a thug, I've never denied that but he is our best centre half. Shawcross hasn't been the same since the unfortunate Ramsey injury. To me he's not been as confident as he was at that time, since that incident and despite having a largely good season, has made a few errors that have led to goals, yesterday being an example, even if Wilkinson was initially at fault. To be fair I don't blame Pulis for playing Jerome as he has been playing superbly well off the bench and in the FA Cup, I like the lad. It's his consistent picking of Walters that is an issue. He keeps playing him when he is completely knackered and that is why his form has dipped. Shame really, as Jonny is a really good player as he showed at the end of last season, and I doubt you will see too many finer people in football than him. Lovely human being.

To be fair to Jerome, he's been pretty good in all honesty. Very good in the last month or so.

Interesting on Shawcross, for a while he looked tailor made for England, wasn't there even talk of going back to United?

I noted Walters from day one, i'd seen him at Ipswich and thought he looked a real handful, but then you never know how a lads gonna adapt to the Premier, but he looked comfortable, even before the goals came.

I compared Pulis to us under Reid, and I still stand by that.

Reid pulled us from nowhere and established us, not just as a Premier club, but a good one, 2 7th placed finishes, and a really exciting side, but then he hit a brick wall (partly due to finances), and in reality, he should have went sooner.

I can't see Pulis taking you down, but it could be that he's hit his ceiling with you, and you need to freshen it up, he would leave with his reputation intact, even if he is a bit of a helmet.

There were rumours for sure. Ferguson has said that he regrets selling Ryan to us. I think they have first option on him, should we decide to sell him. He said wouldn't have done had he realised how much Pique wanted to go to Barcelona. There's no doubting at times Ryan looks international class. His passing lets him down, but that is partly down to the way he is forced to play, which is why I don't think he is good enough, not a good enough passer, not consistent enough anymore.

I agree I don't think we'll go down but you do wonder whether he has taken us as far he can. Pulis believes he needs 10 seasons to make us firmly stabilised in the top flight.

Yeh I remember you under Reidy, what I would give to have a goalscorer like Kevin Phillips in our team!

Mate, if we had a prime time Kevin Phillips now, where we could get to is mind boggling!

When we had Summerbee (just the best crosser of the ball imaginable, from any angle) and Johnston down the channels, Quinn & Phillips (or Bridges & Dichio even when required), used to have a field day.

With Mclean & Larsson now supplying the ammo, a top striker would be in Utopia.

Sadly, Bendtner doesn't have the inner self belief to match his own talk.

    *Goals on Sunday*

Got to be able to distinguish if that as mistimed or a bad tackle. That was a red card all day and no need for it........
In the studio, Meyler kicked him.....
