There's no point carrying on this conversation as we will never agree. So let's leave it there and hopefully meet up again next season - if we manage to start playing decent football and stay up that is!

Fair enough. I would imagine that he's making it on more than that though, as the picture he's using clearly shows contact! Otherwise he's as big a numpty as you are hoping him to be!

There's no chance you'll go down. Hope for your sake that you change your style, though - you have the players capable of it.

Yes we do, which is why so many us us are so frustrated about the way we so often play. Towards the end of last season, and the home game againstMan Utd game this season we were playing some great football. Other than that it's been mostly carp!

To the O.P. that is about right well said.. Huth was stupid no one is suggesting he was not. He did also pull out.. As for Pulis he can do what he likes.
And Makem's Rule we we're getting along fine.. I DID ask you TWICE yesterday?
The video you posted above. SHOW us the NEXT 5/10 sec's afterwards. Where Meyler is actually liying still, then HOLDS his LEFT KNEE. Pleased he was not injured we ALL are. But, if it hurt that much, I've seen the replay. WHY was he able to play on?

All I want is to see the other half of that Video.. it was on MOTD 2 last night. But you insist on showing half of what actually happened. TBH, seem's Pulis is appealing so I'll wait for the outcome. This will be my last comment on this topic. THANKS in advance re that piece of film where David Meyler is lying on the ground.

Still think Pulis is wrong to appeal though, that's my own oppinion as I DO THINK Huth was stupid sliding like that. <ok>

I think it's more of Meyler falling on the frozen pitch when he jumped out of the way. He was sent off within a few seconds, so when he held his knee I think he was genuinely in pain. His last two knee injuries were internal this was just an impact one where he'd be able to shake it off easily

I think he's good at what he does - up to a point. He can stop teams from being relegated - his record proves that. But he is naturally cautious and is more bothered about not losing than anything else. It's getting boring watching Stoke at the moment and I can only hope that something changes soon, be it our style or our manager. I suppose I should be happy just being in the Prem after so many years in the wilderness, but with the players we have we should be playing a more attractive style of football than we do.

It seems a panel will soon decide, whether the red is upheld.
First viewing during the game I thought yellow, the more I see it I can see how the ref went for red, he was behind Hoof and clearly thought it was reckless from his view point.
My problem isn't with Stoke or their fans it is with a manager who after viewing the above can then turn round and accuse Meyler of cheating there being no contact and rolling about to get the player sent off.
The only cheating was done by Stoke (clearing only one goalmouth. ) and Fuller should have went as well.

It's on the Daily Mail Football page. Yahoo match highlights. His knee seems to have dropped down to his shin, from what I can see, mate. Have a look for yourself.

Fair play to Huth. Pity our manager has an ego only dwarfed by Bendtner and Dave Kitson, otherwise he'd apologise. You can see why he's mates with Fergie, he moans and diverts as much as him. I am sick and tired of Pulis blaming anyone but himself. It's only recently that this has happened, he used to hold his hands up when he got it wrong, now he blames the weather or some other crap! How about blaming yourself Pulis and get us playing the good brand of football we were playing at the end of last season?! Who else could spend nearly £100m in 4 seasons and still only have 2 recognised wingers, and the same central midfield that took us up?!

Another mackem retard rears his ugly head! What a waste of money for the council tax payers of Sunderland as your education system is seriously not working at all, probably too busy out robbing cars and killing cats to have attended proper full time education! But never mind I bet you can weave a wicked basket!

That is possible the worst post I have ever seen on our board.

I won't even attempt to insult you, as anyone reading your post will draw their own conclusions.
