fair enough. Although that seems to be exactly Edge's problem. His refusal to condemn racism and sectarianism stems exactly from that.
Rebelbhoy: "Calling someone an Orange bastard isn't sectarian" There is no point in carrying on with this conversation with such a blinkered hypocritical fool. Tit
I have explained my thought process on that and I have asked you to explain why you believe it is sectarian. You have failed to do so. Just another in the long line of failures to your name in this thread.
I will refuse to answer any of your questions on the basis that you consistently refuse to anwer any of my questions. This is the hallmark of your debating style, you ignore any points raised to counter your blinkered view of the world. You see it on this thread, you see it on the Creationist thread, you see it on 606, you are a bitter, permenantly offended, bigoted, bitter child with baldy fanny. No **** off and concentrate on uniting Ireland through the power of prayer. You are deluded.
Oh my god - i've had a flashback to around 2005. substitute "orange bastard" for hun and we its like debating with Malky all over again Its sectarian just because it is - even though you cant prove it Are you malky edge?????????? Dev remember that one?? That went on for days then too
If Edge was a Well fan I may have had my suspicions but he's just another in a long list of blinkered Gers fans.
So, to clarify, you are also claiming that calling someone an Orange Bastard isn't sectarian? There is no hope for you.
and you concentrate on trying to make points through the power of assertion and **** all else. Proven liar, caught lying, tells lies. Who'd have thunk it? You call me a hypocrite based on what? The lies you made up in the first place I'll take that as an admission that you have got **** all to respond with.
On the contrary Dev, I class myself as quite a well rounded individual, I hate nothing or no one, I'm not blinkered at all. I have good life experiences, have a wide range of friends from the whole spectre of society, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Black, White, Chinese. I call a spade a spade, I've admitted that Rangers have a greater problem with sectarian singing, if I was blinkered, I'd have said that Celtic have a greater problem. I just find it strange that Celtic fans are trying to root out "sectarianism and racism" yet when they are presented with a sectarian moment from their recent history, it's swept away with a blazé flick of the wrist. If Celtic fans and in particular Rebelbhoy was serious about the eradication of these problems, then the first step is to admit that calling Walter Smith an Orange bastard can only mean one thing? Calling the ref a dirty Orange Bastard can only mean one thing? But, no it doesn't mean that he's a Sad/Dirty Proddy Bastard, no not at all, it can be construed as a whole manner of things? Well, tell me then, what does it mean?
No you haven't. Point me to where you have condemned racism and sectarianism ONCE. ONCE will do. I don't need all 45.
Back to making up fairy stories are we Edge? You have a sectarian problem. You enable sectarianism with your intransigence. This, I can prove with ease. Over to you bluffer
Prove to me that I'm sectarian then? I've been quite open with you about my backround and how my life operates, but I asked you a question a couple of hundred post ago that you refused to acknowledge, so I'll try again. How many of your close friends are Rangers fans, and moreso, how many of your close friends are Protestants? Also, your denials that the phrase "Dirty Orange Bastard" is not sectarian, and is infact intransigent. Turns out that the phrase "DOB" originates from NI, as an insult to someone of the Protestant community. Bigot.
do you not bother to read what i write? I never said you were sectarian. I said you were a sectarian enabler. I can prove this because you have continually and consistently failed to condemn it. I have 2 friends who support Rangers, only one I would consider myself close with. I have many close friends who are protestants. I don't see how this is at all relevant to anything I didn't deny the phrase was sectarian. I said it can engender a sectarian belief but in itself is not sectarian. I have outline the reasons for this and I can do so again should you so wish. I would be grateful if you could now answer my questions.
By refusing to condemn the singing of Dirty Orange Bastard, and by telling me that you don't believe it is sectarian, you are complicite in Celtic fans bigotry. Here we go again: I condemn Rangers fans singing sectarian songs. Do you condemn Celtic fans bigotry when singing DOB?
