http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2178710/Liverpool-sign-William-McLaren.html Well BR did say there was an exciting signing on the way! Fergie must be gutted Brenda has beaten him to the new Bebe.
Well at least we watched a video on you tube first; you lot took the word of a cook hand that Watched Bebe kick half a cabbage out of the way to get at the restaurant leftovers from the bin out back.
Apparently he is. The link says his real name, then says the nickname, William Mclaren, is because of his 'blistering pace...'
A Brazilian 15 year old scouted from a video on a website... oh boy. Personally, I think this is morally wrong. He is still a child.
Not really... He has the potential to learn a new language, he'll get a better education then he would in Brazil and this is before mentioning that he'll have the opportunity to play football in the biggest league in the world. Yes he is still a child but Liverpool and its staff will know all too well that the boy will need contact with his family and that he'll need an education. If a side like Colchester United can ensure that ALL youth players go to college as well as play for them then i'd imagine that Liverpool will be the same if not better (I know Colchester does this because I used to go to college with a few of their youth players back in 2000 and the only player to make it from that bunch was Lomana Lua Lua (Although Kelchi Opara did go on to play for Leyton Orient)
It's probably some horrendously complicated contract. Maybe he's not signed to anyone yet? He could be too young for passport issues also...? No idea really.
