ahem - i am the most intelligent poster on here

and actually a lot of what monaco says is true - of course attendances are down - im a season book holder and i must admit to cherry picking games this season because we are going to comfortably win the league

but its not the only factor

and in real terms its likely that there will be more punters through the turnstiles this season than last because we are in the champs league

    so in conclusion

    its all good :)

<doh> Mowbray was punted in March, those games were in Feb, March and Apr - ie within weeks either side of his departure

I'm pointing out that the specific reason that season's attendances are soooo low is due to a relatively few games where a lot of people who paid for their tickets didn't go. Regardless, the attendances would've been lower than the previous season's due to lower ticket sales. And there were more ticket sales that season than the next.

IN 2008-9 Rangers were in the SPL. Rangers won the league. Last season Rangers were in the SPL. Celtic won the league. Last season our ticket sales were lower by >10% than 2008-9, despite our having a successful season and despite the presence of our biggest rivals. So why d'you think there was a difference? <laugh>

I believe they cover the costs of distributing the tickets. That is not included in the accounts as ticket sales for games at CP and I repeat why would it? <laugh>

My "excuse" has remained the same. You're too thick to read and understand it apparently. And yes I budget how much I can afford to spend on going to football. And on clothes, holidays, in the pub etc etc. Not sure why that would be a surprise.

Yes, I'd imagine at least some of them do. This season fewer fans have gone to the league games, yet more have gone to the european games. Of course some won't be much arsed about going to many league games at all but are willing to shell out to see world-class teams in the CL.

I'm struggling to think why you find it odd that people might decide to go to football on the basis of whether they can afford it or not. <laugh>

No doubt that depends on whether Sevco are bumped up the divisions <ok>

That's just not true is it weesacks? Iif you don't care you would not have mentioned it, you don't recall what I said but you accused me of saying something I did'nt anyway, you must have the mental capacity of a goldfish.

And how do you get an opinion of someone's personality when you don't even know them?

Regarding "boring", do you know what is "boring"? You speiling the same tired childish ****e on a regular basis. Like:-

"<insert name of relevant Hun> destroying <insert name of relevan Tim> as per the scriptoid"

    "beel"

    "russ"

Do you know how ****ing pathetic you sound wee man?

Get a grip of yourself <ok>

unless you plan on changing the subject of the thread, this statement would indicate that you would be leaving the thread. That's how I, and maybe other people, took it anyway. Maybe you could clarify for us?

I've always found that repeated catchphrases only work to irritate for a short time. After a while it's a cliche that people barely notice or use ironically. "Beel" passed that phase months ago. "As per the scriptoid" shortly after.

Tired patter - it's all bit like your dad describing something as "cool". <cringe>
