That is why i said i appologise for the double post, i was just saying how they were appearing on the echo sight and stuff though.
Sorry didn't see your other post or didn't read it properly, one or tother. What would you like me to do, merge the two? or do you want to delete it? Or me to delete it or for me to just close it??
At the end of the day, we can all guess & second guess, but no of us will know, as NC & NA will keep it in house & private (the way it should be). The only way we might get wind of anything, is if leaked by the seller, like with young Stevens from Plymouth. One things for sure, NC wont be held to ransom. But hey, it does'nt stop us from wishing though, does it.... ps BBBBeddy, Tuckshop's now closed for refurbishment, to bring it up to Championship style
David Goodwillie from Dundee Utd Gary Hooper from Celtic - (Adkins had him at Scunnie, might be an outside bet, but if Celtic don't get into the Champions League proper, he may fancy coming back down south)
Especially if he fears for his life. The worst that will happen here is someone will wave a season ticket at you!
In no way shape or form do I want David Nugent at Southampton Football Club! It's not because of the fact he plays for that team down the M27, it's the fact that he is exactly the sort of player that will upset the balance within the squad. He has an ego bigger than the Spinnaker Tower and that's even bigger than Jason Puncheon's! We need quality players who want to prove themselves at this level, not walk in thinking that they're the bee's knees and above everybody else. With that in mind David Nugent should stay well away from our club.
I've obviously missed something, David nugent!!!!!!!!!! Why on earth would we want that cast off. The only reason he is still at Pompey is because no one else wanted him at any price. I might be being a tad unkind to the guy but that is how I see it. We have better possibly coming up from the academy surely than Nugent!
Does anyone know what it is about Jon Forte? He's got a 3.5 yr contract, yet scarcely featured. NA knew all about him and signed him, but he's only had a few games. We won't forget the Dons match in a hurry but is he consistent enough. Were the team playing too well to let him in or was he always intended to be an impact player. Another 3 years left on his contract just seems excessive for that. N'Guessan had some moments and was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions, but he got his exit pass when he argued with NA at a match.
West Ham are as good as down and in the financial poo, Cardiff are in the playoffs and Leicester are somewhere in mid-table. Is it really worth it?
We don't need Forte to be consistent. Isn't he there to come off the bench and change the course of a game? he chases the ball, gets into decent positions and scoores a few goals. What were you expecting of him?
What has this got to with us? Nigel Adkins is going nowhere. If he does, my faith in human nature will be well and truly finished. I could tolerate virtually any player leaving, because we'd get the money, replace them, and move on, but NA is a gem.
My interest Fran was curiosity....he was deemed another up and coming manager. One for the future (I don't mean at Saints) Last I heard was that he would probably ended up at one of the bigger clubs in a couple of years.
