All week in the media it was being pushed as 'no such thing as a friendly' And 'passion' was the buzzword, apparently because rugby league fans have loads of it, according to an Australian speaking on local radio, who cannot possibly know because he's only been in the country two minutes. So obviously speaking from a prepared script. The KC pitch will not have improved from having this totally meaningless match played on it.
Personally couldn't give a flying fig about the game - But the question I'd like to ask is why fffs couldn't it have been played at Craven Park? We have to endure the KC being played on every week from the start of the RL season till May - would surely have made sense to play it at Reevers ground? Could perhaps accept it being switched to the KC with the recent bad weather but this decision was made some time ago.
Some of you seem obsessed with RL. Even to the extent of talking about it on a football forum. Why don't you ask Mick for a sub forum?
This ia rugby forum too judging by the 2 posts about the same thing today. Honestly, just ask Mick, he'll whip you lot up a RL forum in a second.
That old excuse eh? Great to see so many forget their grievances and turn out for the Arsenal and Chelsea games though!
Ooh good, this again. City have had such big crowds this season that there's definitely a reason to be mocking other clubs.
The problem I and many other fans have is the media coverage in Hull , completely and totally biased in favour of rugby over football Also the rugby fans who 'support' Liverpool and Man U who would no doubt be shocked if I supported St Helens or Wigan when I was born in Hull
I'm with you Lincoln, there's some bitter people on here regarding the rugby teams, I'd rather live in harmony so congratulations on pulling a healthy crowd for a friendly.

For taking a flare into the ground? Take it you didn't go to Leeds away this season or you'd have seen city fans 'shaming' our city!
so. what was all that about stewards and standing? welcome to our world!!!! as for the smoke bomb, you can't do that in such a family sport and sounds ike some woman offering out the whole of the rovers end as she was ejected is just a family thing?

When Leeds are in the position that they are, people only have the enthusiasm to go to a few games a season, in general. You can either save up for a league game which costs the same or more, or watch us play Chelsea which you know will have a great atmosphere and buzz about it. Not a hard choice. For the record, I go to league and cup home and away whenever I can. And can you please change your name because for the umpteenth time, you are slagging off 'agro' on this thread where it's actually manifested itself in the real world. Are you some sort of keyboard cagefighter, Mr Aggravation?
Because that's never happened at the KC before? Or did that happen at the last home game against Sheff Wednesday? For what it's worth I think your right, it is shameful, unfortunately it doesn't just occur when rugby games are played.
