I'm sure plenty would. Personally I'd rather win one FA Cup and drift forever between the second and fourth tiers than finish 12th-17th in the Prem every year. Beating a big side is great, but for clubs like us and Norwich it's rare. The Prem is generally turgid and I really won't be too upset if we never make it back up as long as I can watch a team play with some pride.
H.P. I think having seen that tackle vs Newcastle that he lad should really have got a ban. The FACT is he didn't so I don't get all these stupid comments. Some from Newcastle fans which, I guess is understandable to some extent.? Remember our game, last one of the season when you did enough at our place to stay up. I for one hope you can do it and well done last weekend. NO ONE can take the FA Cup away from you no matter what happens over the next 2 games. Good luck vs Arsenal tonight like those who were in trouble not so long ago and we're bricking it! I know as a Stoke fan I was, we've done enough now. So, Just go for it and all the best. IF you stay up it will be because you deserve to stay up. GOOD LUCK from me H.P. Most fans who are having a dig would give their right arm for a Manager like Roberto.. Do it for him. Who knows we might see you next season.
Not going to mock you guys as there is a point in banter. The person i dislike is whelan so part of me is happy for his attitude in defending the thug, Martinez did himself no favours after our game but He is a great manger and you boys do Play some top stuff. You will be okay as you have your money in order un like QPR So to be honest I feel for you "the fans" as I know the pain that goes with relagation.
Spot on Watford_R; It's sad the effect that money has had on the game. (before i get pillaged for that statement, I know QPR are now adding to the problem) We can already predict with some certainty every season who will probably win the Premier League. A couple more teams are then added to the pot for the 'Not The Champions League'. Then we come to those desperate to reach 40's points and those grabbing the 'Europa Fatigue' spots. Would I take a FA Cup win over relegation? In a heartbeat. A small point though, you do beat big teams if you are going to win the FA Cup. HP; There will always be those ready to kick you when you are down, remember, your FA Cup win will be remembered and replayed for many years to come unlike the relegation fight.
McManaman going off on a stretcher. Wigan being relegated, Dave Whelan's face I would so loved to see. 2010 Tops - Karma is restored.
My friend you bring me good news Karma is restored l was not aware of The thug being stretched off. Lets hope its a bad one !!!!! What goes around and all that
That is just stooping down to Wigan and McManaman's level, shame on you. Anyhow they will lose Martinez and McThugaman soon anyhow.
I think most on our board would take Prem survival over a cup and relegation. I like a Martinez but think your chairman is a total bell top of the highest order. Can't see you boys coming back.
I'm not really interested in lectures on bellend chairmen from someone whose club is owned by Mike Ashley.
Ashley is a bellend but we don't deny it Unlike some QUOTE=HP Sauce;4811179]I'm not really interested in lectures on bellend chairmen from someone whose club is owned by Mike Ashley.[/QUOTE]
It is pretty bad when somebody would rather finish 17th or survive over and over again then actually win an FA Cup. You say football is about the PL. I thought it was about winning things? You can always get back into the PL not so easy to make a FA Cup Final.
Lol, welcome to the Prem Bluebird, looking forward to seeing you and the Jacks crossing swords in the top flight! There's always at least one team that gets promoted that takes the league by surprise - maybe it'll be your lot. Fingers crossed you hold onto your manager though.
