Rangers manager Ally McCoist has been boosted by the news that Lee McCulloch has been passed fit for the Scottish Cup tie at Falkirk, live on Sky Sports. The club captain has recovered from the knock he picked up in Monday's League One success at Arbroath but Kyle Hutton is out with a broken leg incurred on U20s duty. Striker Dean Shiels could come into contention for Saturday's game and make his first appearance since August following a knee injury. McCoist is expecting another tough test at a ground where Rangers have had their problems in recent seasons. "I'm already reading comments after Falkirk's good victory at the weekend - quite rightly - from one or two of their lads," he said. "They knocked us out of the League Cup a couple of seasons ago and are doing well in the league just now. "They are looking forward to the Rangers game and they're looking to put one over on us again. You'd absolutely expect them to say that. "If there was ever any doubt about how up for the game Falkirk are, you just have to look at their quotes in the newspapers. They're full of confidence. "We've had them watched and they beat Livingston 4-1 recently, so it's a tough game for us." Falkirk manager Gary Holt can call on loan signing Mark Millar after Dundee United agreed to their request. Sky Sports This game will be a little tougher than the ones we have played of late. I'm hoping we can keep up our winning ways. Good to see Dean Shiels back in the squad he's been pretty unlucky with all the injuries. Provisional Rangers squad: Bell, Wallace, McCulloch, Faure, Mohsni , Macleod, Aird, Black, Crawford, Law, Daly, Clark, Peralta, Simonsen, Smith, Cribari, Templeton, Shiels.
You know what usually happens when one of us starts the match thread don't you? I'll get the excuses in early. It's a cup game anything can happen look at the Forfar game or Celtic v Morton. Falkirk will raise their game it's like a cup tie to them. We never do that well on astroturf, space dust or creamola foam. All our ex-players will come back and haunt us (watch out for the ectoplasmic Kyle Lafferty). We never do well when the game is played at lunchtime on the 30th of November 2013. Charles Green's forged bus pass has unsettled us. The team only do well where there is decent wi fi. There that's them out of the way. Come on The Glasgow Rangers.
Settle doon. Ally is over his cup hoo-doo. Meanwhile we continue our unstoppable progress up the leagues. Do you know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object? Rangers win, SFA lose. We are, indeed, the unstoppable Glasgow Rangers. Tremble, you ****s.
Am going, looking forward to it. First game I'll have been to this season, if we get beat I'll take the hint and no go to another one.
Our brave lads from the British Army will have you covered by a sniper should your presence in any way detract from our team's performance.
Have only seen a little bit. Didn't look that great, but only saw about ten minutes or so. Wallace seems to be doing the same as the other night. Brilliant runs, but not so good finishing. Why is Templeton not getting a game? He seems to have hardly played at all this season.
The second half was better. Big Jig missed a penalty and the Falkirk player was sent off for being the last defender. He brought on Templeton and Aird and it improved the play a bit. Law scored and then wee Lewis set up Templeton who scored a decent goal.
Temps doesn't score **** goals. I honestly believe having templeton on the park when hes having an off day is worth the risk, rather than playing someone else. When the boys on form he scores for fun and they are always skillful goals.
Totally agree with you MD he's a good player to watch. I'll post some pictures for Eric to dislike This one was taken by S.Hooper and it's called "The masonic ref" please log in to view this image
Hopefully we get the tarriers in the next round. They should ****ing murder us, but it will be worth all the **** of the last 2 years if we beat the ****s.
Wisny a very good game, 1st half was ****e and the 2nd half was ****e anaw up until Aird and Temps came on. Up until then we were basically playing 4 centre mids across the park, without Lee Wallace there would've been no pace or width in that team. With big Daly up top we need players like Aird and Temps to give him the service. Happy with the result but we'd need to up our game in the next round if we come up against one of the in form Premiership teams.

Didn't see the game as last nights tragedy became very personal this morning . Good to see the team get past a very tricky game though .
