Bottom bet is strong mate <ok>. I have my doubts on the West Ham - Southampton game mind... Could go either way.

I'm just putting mine on now so will put them up soon.

We used to have a sticky thread for gambling which did get used on a regular basis and I'm not sure why it called pulled.

I've been backing against AEK Athens all season, they are in the 3rd Division through choice, choose to go to a non-professional league to sort out financial situation.

Anyway, keep an eye out for them and have a fiver against them every time they play, as you will get between 10 and 30/1 on them losing.

I say this, it's came up for me this morning for the first time, 19/1, so you will lose a lot of fivers, but you don't miss a fiver whereas you DO benefit from £100.

A similar system with Rangers, draw HT win FT, has been paying off at between 5 & 18/1 for a season and a half, I have won fortunes off this one.

It's amazing how much rangers bump your odds when you're laying a four or five fold bet.

Aye, closest thing to a certain bet at the minute.

Aberdeen are winning me a LOT of money at the minute, you are generally getting better than evens regardless of oppo, and they are winning nearly every game.

I prefer to look for a system or a set pack of teams than take punts at individual games, ignore the odds and go for form teams or gut instinct.

I never back Sunderland, but anyone backing us last 12-15 games would have made a packet.

Couldn't really find 3 or 4 teams that I really fancy this weekend. The best bet I could come up with is:

Over 2.5 goals in each game

    West Brom v Fulham
    West Ham v Southampton
    Huddersfield v Sheff We'd
    Burnley v N Forest
    Sheff Utd v Bristol City

    £5 returns £133.30

With goals over/under, I generally wait till 82 mins or thereabouts, and scatter a load of £3 singles on over.

This is the quickest way to win money, on Tuesday night I lifted about £250 in the last 10 mins of the games on tiny stakes.

Nice 1, what sort of odds are you looking at around 82mins?

What happened to the betting sticky we had also?

looks like Chelsea is going to let me down straight off. Think you've got a point about the early kick off's SAFC83. May have to avoid them in future

Depends on the game but anywhere from evens to 5/1, it pays to keep an eye on stats etc and choose the ones that look like a goal, say a games 82 mins old with 8 efforts on goal, **** that, if it's 1-1 with 28 efforts, a cert, just being smart really.

If you go really brave and wait till 88 mins, you can get 8s and 10s to 1, nail 2 of them at £3 each and you are laughing.

Remember, there are more goals in the last 10 mins than any other time in a game, and the last 10 mins can be 14-17 with stoppage time, but bookies software bases odds on 90, not 90 plus.

Betting thread was removed cos someone was whining about sticky's. Was Bill of England, who no longer posts like.

    Well thought out. Interesting.

I remember Bill, most didn't like him but I thought he was alright personally. Anyways, any chance we could have one put up just until the end of the season like?

Perfect example og goals over here, Chelsea/Everton, bet365 offering 9/1 on a goal. 5 mins stoppage time, that's effectively 85 mins.

Not touching it like as Chelsea have been poor, but shows what I'm getting at.

EDIT bastard, should have had that, haha
