    He has gone way up from in my estimation after really sticking the knife in. "Sunderland were very good and did as much as they could against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final on Sunday but they still lost........" with a link to 3-1 page with Man C celebrating <laugh><laugh> Ignoring that his prediction is strangely quite realistic, I love his backhanded compliment. Still a **** of course, but ever so slightly less so for taking the piss out of the mackems.

    You lot really are going on about us losing, aren't you? I can entirely understand the piss-taking, but it's the "getting to a final is **** all" that puzzles me. Someone's even pointing out that it's the third in a row we've lost, whilst ignoring the fact that you're currently up to four.

    Honestly, we could win the FA Cup and you'd just say it was because no-one takes it seriously any more <doh>

    Nah if you won something, then it would actually mean something. Until then though its just a source of amusement :emoticon-0148-yes:

    We have no game to talk about, our manager has yet to receive his sentence for murder, and we're making serene progress into the upper reaches of the league. Laughing at your clubs failures seems a reasonable thing to pass a bit of time on at present.

    Sadly, though, there's little serene about your progress. There'll be something round the corner, sure as eggs is eggs. And we used to think Di Canio was a nutter :)
