Looking at the BBC now and some of the things being said are amazing. One Lib Dem woman just said that she was disappointed that Labour didn't join them in trying to "character assassinate" Farage. Arrogant pricks.
I just watched that, It was amazing, I did a double take at the Tv when I heard it. If that had been said by Farage they would have been all over him.
I wonder who will be the first major torylab mp to jump ship to the ukip after this ? looking towards the chance of a ukip victory in next years general election. Whoever it is will be a rat, And whatever dirt is set up on Farage in the coming months will be met with scepticism from most as the public are used to the establishments dirty ways now !
Already happened, a Labour MP moved over to them saying something about no plans for allow the public to decide on EU and further hospitals to be closed and replaced by private companies if a labour get back into power. If that is a rat then I misunderstood our little furry friends.
I would vote UKIP if it was not for their stance on europe. the Tories and labour are running scared now and the lib dems look to be finished...
He should look at what Europe did to us this season... We were close to relegation, nothing good comes of that place I tell ya!
I'll throw a party if Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan switches to UKIP - now that would be a real coup! This is him ripping Gordon Brown a new one a few years ago. He's immense. "A devalued Prime Minister of a devalued Government". Priceless.
I am guessing here, but could it be the whole UK INDEPENDENCE party. Their main goal has always been, and always will be to be independent from the EU.
Its like saying I would vote for the BNP or Britain First, but don't agree with their stance on islam and immigrants. Or I would vote for the Green party, but I don't agree with their stance on ecological sustainability.
Labour will promise a cast iron referendum during the next parliament thus crushing both the Tories and UKIP next year as the Labour sheep will return to their herders.
My point is that most poloti-cons imo for a long time have been self serving corruptable, OPPORTUNISTIC rotters and would jump ship without a thought for their current party if it kept them on the winning side. A bit like footballers really !
The only way Labour will get anywhere in the next election is: 1: If the economy nosedives and there's no sign of that. 2: They have leader with some charisma who doesn't speak like he's got a mouthful of cotton wool. Tories will get a majority imo or if it's a hung parliament will go into government with UKIP who will hopefully get a few seats next time.
that would be the clearest impact yet of UKIP. but i can't see that happening, labour is a party of the EU, and very much married to the fundamental principles it has. even now, after the UK electorate has shown what it thinks of europe, their attitude is not to address those concerns. instead, incredibly, their attitude is that its a vote against 'political establishment and austerity'. i kid you not. they interpret people voting for an EU out party as a vote against austerity. how out of touch can you possibly get? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27573321
They also said to vote out of Europe and regain full sovereignty is "Anti-British"... I kid you not! This Labour Party is bloody dangerous!
I noticed both of those comments. Milliband saying the UKIP vote was a protest vote against the austerity measures was priceless.
Ed Milliband is a ****er. If it was his brother, David, leading the Labour Party, they'd be odds on to win the general election next year with a rather cushy majority.
