I am opening this thread to post match reports, etc, of Rangers' League matches this Season. This does not mean there should be no Match Threads on individual matches though, as this thread will be more like a diary, or logbook ... 'for the record'. Start as we hope NOT to carry on ! Rangers' first League defeat since April 2013 ... well, staying unbeaten will not be a monkey on the back this season, so, to borrow a phrase : We dust ourselves down and go again ! ... I can't think for sure where I first heard that, but it might be somewhere near B6, I think ... What a ****ty start to the season. I saw elsewhere that Coisty is trying to apportion blame on Charles Green again for unsettling some of the squad Maybe there's a tiny element of this, but you would think that they are used to it by now. I suppose it reinforces what McCoist was saying that this is going to be much harder this season. I know it's only the first game but It's a disappointment nevertheless.
Anybody who watched the Hibs game can not be surprised by todays result. McCoist is out of his depth even at this level. It's gonne be a long season.
We still have too many duds - Foster and Hutton are pure s**te and nowhere near good enough. We desperately lack a Barry Ferguson/Steve Davis type midfielder. On a brighter note I think Kenny Miller still looks as though he has a lot to offer but unfortunately the lack of quality service to him and Boyd is frightening. Templeton and Shiels both have ability but have been disappointing and should be doing more. It's gonnie be a long season.
If I'm being honest, I too believe he's done enough to keep it. Not a lot of people will agree but he's bang on blaming Green for the defeat and also for Hearts taking a quick kick off. It's blatant anti-Rangers bias that UEFA haven't stepped in. Hopefully, once Ally pens an open letter to Hearts asking for a one off replay of the match, it can be replayed. please log in to view this image
I actually didn't think we played that badly, we do miss a bit of creativity, which is pretty obvious though.
Can you not finish 4th and still get promoted? I saw the last half hour - thought Law took his goal well and yeez were a bit unlucky with the substitution at the winner.
